Comment:

Gina was great for my ballet class. She is super knowledgeable about dance and she knows how to push you to improve. There are a couple of written assignments but they aren't too hard. She does tend to focus on her favorites in the class but, she does still pay attention to the rest of the class.

Comment:

Regina was a really good instructor, but sometimes she went a little fast for someone who has never done dance before. The few assignments you have are easy to forget about, and I didn't do much of them and I still got an A while skipping a couple too many classes. It was a good class but emotionally taxing for a first dance class.

I loved Ballet I. Regina is a WONDERFUL professor and I would recommend her to anyone. You will learn so much about ballet and about being healthy in general. You can not skip class often and you must be prepared to work your hardest, but it is SO worth it. Great for people with prior dance experience or none at all! I enjoyed this class. Take it!

It is so enjoyable to take a class from Regina! She really roots for her students and turns them into dancers. Attendance is mandatory and be prepared to put in some effort learning terms & movements. Ballet I is suited for beginners & experienced dancers, and it is so fun to watch everyone be inspired and improve. I HIGHLY recommend Regina!

Comment:

Beginning ballet is a great class to take even if you have zero dance experience. Gina is very understanding and gives good constructive criticism. Overall a fun class, but still a little challenging. There's a small quiz and 2-3 journal entries. The final was a big written test and you had to know the French terms, but it isn't bad if you study.

I audited to keep up my technique, and she's absolutely fantastic. She retrains you, breaking things down to fix the foundational elements. She's also trained in floor barre, which adds variation to the usual barre routine. Gina's super kind, and the class is fun and challenging. If you're a freshman coming from a studio, email Gina to take this.

Regina is so helpful! She is really passionate about dance! Attendance is EXTREMELY important- so don't take this class if you plan on skipping! She really helped me grow as a dancer, and I learned so much technique; she really knows her ballet. Regina is so kind and willing to help. Very little outside of class work! Just attend and do your best!

I haven't taken a ballet class since I was like five. And I'm not very good. Like at all. But I felt like I knew a lot about it when I got out of the class. She taught to beginners, regardless of whether everyone in her class was a beginner or not. She understood that not everyone was going to be great at ballet, so it was really about effort.

Ms Regina is really helpful if you have any problems. There isn't much pressure as long as you're confident. Although a lot of the girls know 100% what they are doing, there is no shame and she always helps you and she is understanding of everyones abilities. Take from her!

Regina is a good ballet teacher and a very nice person. Some girls in the class have a lot of prior ballet training while others have very little, but she treats all of us equally and makes sure that class is challenging enough for advanced students but not too hard for less advanced ones. Overall great class and I am planning to take it again.

I skipped Ballet I and she taught me more in that one Ballet II class than i had learned at years in my studio. Critiques experienced dancers as much as inexperienced ones. She treats everyone equal and really tries her hardest to bring out the best dancer in you. Classic, strict ballet teaching style but you learn so much! LOVE her

Really nice lady, but made me mad at times where there should be flexibility from past instructors, she believes its only right the way she does things. Having class in the morning is rough, really nice but sometimes not always fun, a lot of repeated classes

Gina is a wonderful Ballet instructor. She is always willing to help. I was able to have her in class, as well as a choreographer in ADE. I STRONGLY recommend her. Put forth effort and you will leave this class a much better dancer. There is vocabulary but by dancing it, you will be fine on the final. I will be taking class with her again!

Regina is a great classical ballet teacher. Her class is structured and you will learn a lot. She has a very strict attendance policy and does require journals and small papers outside of class (not hard though, just take some time). The final must be studied for but isn't bad! I really enjoyed my ballet class and it was a great workout too!

Regina was a great teacher. I skipped Ballet I and so I felt like I was behind most of the other dancers but I learned a lot and really enjoyed myself. Regina videotaped us one week and let us watch it the next week and that was really helpful. The final wasn't too hard. Effort is the most important thing.

Regina is a wonderful teacher! I hadn't danced in years and she really got me to love it again! Don't go in thinking this class is going to be easy, Regina will push you! However, the class was fun and I'm really glad I took it. I'm taking another class from her next semester!

Just ask if you need help and she will find a way to straighten things out. Kind, amazing patience, fun, and never gives the class something that can't be done everyone or a large majority. Also great for ballet - yes, even for non-dancers!

regina expects a lot of her students, but she will also give you the training to do well, even if you dont have any previous experience. always willing to help, and very approachable (even though it dosent seem like it). i want to take her over and over again!!!
