he is an excellent teacher - the class is very interesting, he gives his assignments back on time, encourages students to ask questions. The only issue is that he is a very tough marker, it is virtually impossible to get an A+ on an assignment. Be prepared to work your butt off

Talented lecturer with an extensive knowledge of the development of western law. Fair marker, definitely not impossible to get an A if you do the readings and prepare well for the final. Highly recommended

Very good teacher. You have to take alot of notes but the course is very interesting and you learn ALOT of concrete rules of law that can help you in everyday life.. . It's empowering in that sense and he's a really good teacher..lots of great anecdotes and case stories!

I took both his 300 level and 200 level classes this year and loved both. From my experience, he's one of the best professors at concordia. I highly recommend his classes to any Poli Sci major.

Great professor who makes the subject matter fascinating. I recommend this class to anyone who interests lie in philosophy, history and law. You will get a good mark if you go to class, take good notes and do all the readings. But that's pretty much the case for any university class isn't it?

You really have to be an idiot to not do well on his exam. He asks one question and he gives it to you on the course outline. The readings are not easy reads but he helps explain the material very well. The essay was hard but if you can present a clear message you'll do well

Professor Fregeau is one of the best at Concordia! This class is a must-take if you are thinking of going into law school. Gives the questions to both exams.. The only way to fail in this class is pure slacking and stupidity on your part. I wouldn't call it an easy-A class, but definitely one where an A is not impossible! Fregeau gets an A+ !

I don't understand how you can possibly do bad in his class, he gives you an outline and if you follow the outline as he's lecturing then you know exactly what notes to write down. Easy A if you approach this class intelligently. If your somewhat of a slacker then thats a different story.

Excellent class and an exceptional teacher, I wish all my classes were like this one. He is a tough grader but if you take good notes you should be able to get a good mark. Highly recommend.

Hard marker...gave 40 sample questions ONE WEEK before for the mid-term and then only had 15 questions on the actual test, wanting very in-depth answers...two exams worth 50% each...interesting lectures but not the greatest professor...I wouldn't take again

i'am a creative writing student who had never taken a poli sci course in my life and i got an A- in this class. i worked harder than i ever have and it totally paid off. an amazing public speaker, great teacher, and warm hearted man. always available to help even though he has a day job. was ahead of his sylabus. got assignments back on time. This prof is so interesting. He makes the material interesting. And when he teaches, he tries to get the class's attention by being dramatic or funny. He's an excellent prof. I think he's been at this univ. for > 15 years and he's so enthusiastic and helpful, you'd think it was his first week on the job. He's a delight.
