raina is by far my favorite english teacher i have ever had including high school. She is understanding and will be your mentor/friend if you allow her. I hate comp classes because everyone knows you don't NEED to attend class to do the assignments, but her humor makes class bearable. also email her 24 hrs in advance if you need to miss class.

You only have to write a couple of papers for her class. Attendance isn't mandatory, but there's quizzes every week. However, she's super nice about grading, gives extra credit, and she's super sweet! She knows her stuff! Definitely recommend!!

I LOVE Raina. She really cares about English & is very kind. Takes attendance for a grade & likes to give out bonus points on days when a lot of people miss. 4 papers in the class, almost weekly discussion board posts, & all reading assignments can be googled so I didn't use the book. Grades slow but is lenient w/ late work. Understanding & sweet

had her online for world lit 2. heavy reading course. tests were not super difficult but you definitely needed to study a little bit. only had two papers that weren't graded very harshly. lots of discussion posts and little quizzes. not bad.

This class was awesome. Mrs. Lyons is always there if you need help with a paper or have any questions and you can tell she loves what she teaches. She just wants you to succeed and will always try her best to make that happen. I would definitely take this class again, ten times over!

I loved Dr. Lyons! DEF TAKE HER!!! It was an easy A if you went to class bc she took roll. Just bring your book to class bc she did random checks. There was no final,quizzes, or tests. The only con was she didn't put any of her grades in the computer so you could never see what you had in the class, but you could probably go up and ask her.

I absolutely love Ms. Lyons! She was super helpful when I needed her and quickly responded to my emails. She is lenient on some things. The papers aren't too hard because she clearly states out what she wants. I HATE writing and I made an A in this class opposed to the C I made in Comp 1.

RAINA ROCKS!!! She is sooo nice and so funny. I love her to death. I tried so hard to get her for Comp 2 also but couldn't :( She is so fun to talk to and is such a good teacher. She is very lenient about a lot of things but is strict on attendance. But she seriously is the best. TAKE HER CLASS.

I LOVE RAINA! Literally the best professor you could ask for. She makes it fun to go to class and you learn so much. She is not super strict on attendance, but if you go every day and listen to what she says you will get an A. Trying to get her again for COMP 2 because I love her that much. Great with students and LOVES what she does.

By far, THE BEST professor I had here as a freshman. She makes class fun and interesting, but also makes you learn. Attendance is mandatory to get all of the concepts, but the class is not bad to go to at all. Will let you out early if she is done with the lecture, and she makes your time in class worth while. Get her if you can!!!! THE BEST

In high school I hated English class, but having her made me love it! I was never good at writing papers and I got A's on all of mine. By far my best professor this semester. Very helpful and very fun. Attendance is mandatory, but you will WANT to go to her class!!!!
