Come to class for clickers, do all your homework and study the homework for the exam. I thought this class was pretty easy, the exams are easy except for the final. So, do well on all your exams so you won't have to take the final. She is very caring and really ask for your advice on how the exam went. Moreover, please do ask questions!

I have had to teach myself every single concept learned in this class. Luckily, if you understand the concepts, you will do well on the test. This woman does not know how to teach whatsoever. Posts lecture notes that are messy, illegible, and confusing. I haven't paid attention to a single lecture because it makes things more confusing.

Her lecture is kind of boring but she explains things clearly. There are a lot of clicker points in class (about 20%) so go to class if you want these points. Test requires good understanding of the materials.

Debatably the hardest class in the entire ASU B.S. in biochemistry program. Not only is the class insanely difficult, Dr. Wachter isn't the best lecturer. She'll write a whole concept on the board, then erase it and have to re-explain the whole thing because she mixed up the details. However, she's the lesser of evils.

She made the class pretty simple. The posted homework problems were pretty similar to the tests. Looking over notes and doing problems guarantees a good grade.

I was DREADING this class because I heard only bad things. Now I wish Dr. Watcher taught our entire class and we didn't have to switch professors halfway. She goes slowly, she is clear, and helpful. Do the homework and you pretty much have done the exam! Great professor- so glad I know I will be passing this class so I can GRADUATE!

Easy A for BCH 463. Taught well and made it clear what the expect on exams. However, be careful for her 12 pt questions (for 1 problem). Miss one of those puppies and your down a whole letter grade! 1 or 2 Slightly tricky problems, but can reason them out. Most of the exam will be comprised of her notes with the numbers changed for problems.

She is not bad, but not good either. She knows biochemistry. Her English is rather good a little bit of an accent but understandable. Her test are multiple choice, this is not a good thing. She sometimes answer question in a very indirect manner. It takes around 10 hours a week to do assigned problems and reading( completely).

Dr. Wachter is a nice lady, unfortunately she does not make her tests according to what she teaches. She tells you to study "everything" and doesn't give any hints and then gives you a total curve ball on the tests, not fun. Not helpful either. If you have the opportunity choose another professor! Class Grade based only on exams, no quizzes or HM.

She sucks! But, you can't get around NOT taking the class. Just show up and sit in the front row and don't fall a sleep. Follow the book, and forget her lectures. She is unprepared and acts like she is always wanting to be somewhere else. So I feel sorry for you, But I had to do it.
