I had Professor Monbrod for 4 different classes. He covers EVERYTHING in class and homework that are on his tests. He's always willing to help students. Keep good notes and pay attention. If you want an easy A and not pay attention, take another teacher.

Should be more accurate with gradebook. Online quizzes provided by the textbook publisher are not relevent to the subject be talked about in class.

I have no idea what I learned from him. He went over stuff way to fast and expected everyone to know everything. And what's this extra credit that everyone is talking about? Our class certainly didn't get any except for that stupid 5-7 pg book report. He's nice though and his son is very cute :)

Easy to understand and breaks down concepts to a students level. Give lots of extra credit for those who do poorly on the exams. Gives you every opportunity to get the best grade possible.

Prof. Monbrod was, by far, the most difficult teacher I had at Devry. At the same time he did something alot of other teachers that were "cooler" didn't... and that was ACTUALLY TEACHING ME SOMETHING!!! He is demanding of his students, but he always is there to help if you don't understand things. Outside of class he is a great person as well.

This class was very easy to me. All the test were right from the book. So, all I have to do is to read the book and understand it. His lab assignments were easy points to get. He drops one homework assignment and the lowest test for the final grade. Take him. If you know how to use Exel, then you shoul get an easy A. Just study!

Only consider taking this class if you already have a clear understanding of accounting principles. As far as his teaching, he was all over the place and nowhere at the same time. When I looked at my notes after a class they made me even more confused than when I first walked in. Fair Warning!!!!!

Comment:
Spent too much time on assigning extra credit readings which, in an accelerated class, weren't humanly possible to complete. At times was condescending if you didn't understand something.

Inflexible drill type professor. His concepts are easily understood if you ask him for ADDITIONAL help before they are due (and he will give it)--otherwise I thought his classes were test after test that you learned material by YOURSELF he assigned.
