Solid professor! Very approachable and wants to help his students. Tests are fair even though it does require textbook reading, but he's happy to help and gives hints before. The Harts (him and his sibling Tae) were clearly raises by good professor-rearing parents.

Comment:

One of the best Profs at York. Really a great personality and cares about students. I will always remember his course for that reason. He made it interesting and made true the saying "never a dumb a ques". I truly enjoyed his enthusiasm. Hope I get more profs like him. Would take a course with him anyday..

dr hart is one of those rare professors you stumble across who really cares about his student. He always answers question (no matter how stupid they may be) and never makes you feel dumb for asking- he wants to make everyone feel included. He is extremely fair in his marking. I wish there were more profs like him around.

Overall a great course. Prof Hart was 1 of the greatest profs i've ever had. He actually wants to see people do well which is rare @ york. He is very clear and tells u what to study & what not to. Tests r 50% lecture & 50% text. Canadian health statistics r very important on exams. the bonus assignment is optional but a great way 2 raise ur mark

Prof Hart was an okay Prof. His tests were somewhat easy and he gave you a bonus assignment, but there was something odd about him. He has a kind of fake smile and can be weird at times. The class was overall enjoyable, just make sure to take notes during the movies and know your stuff.

Professor Hart was such an amazing prof, in fact the best prof i have ever had!!!! The material was great and interesting and he taught it so well!!! He is really into what he does and it shows in his teaching. He is a very inspiring professor who truely cares about his students. We can definately use more profs like him!!!

This prof is amazing, he really cares about his students success. He made the material really engaging. He is sets extremely clear expectations. Its a shame he doesnt teach more classes at york. He really wants his students to excel in his class and that's a rare quality I find in professors at this school. Amazing prof, amazing class.

Only thing I can fault this guy on is being TOO NICE at times. You can tell that he actually really cares about his students learning and succeeding in the course! He's even scheduled an extra exam review session for us and he totally didn't have to do that. Very generous with his time and expertise.

Health Psych is one of the best courses I have taken. Prof. Hart engages with student, lectures are clear and posted online and he wants ALL of his students to do well. He tells you what exactly he wants on exams, and exams are fair. If you put some time and effort into this class you will be rewarded with an A. Prof. Hart's clas is one of the best

hes GEEKY but cute @ the same time, very helpful n approachable, tests r ok not 2 hard, lectures r v.clear but he wastes too much time n at the end of the lecture,RUSHES!notes posted online...v.clear abt test format and wut u need to no and not,optional assignment too! sort of rude at times, indiresctly makes students feel DRY! overall cute n nice:

He may be a geek, but he knows how to get the class motivated to learn. An excellent professor. Carolyn James (the TA for the course) was also excellent. Recommended for anyone!

Lectures are straight forward. Provides lecture notes online and good examples in class. Very clear and straight forward examples for the text. SA questions quite easy however tricky MC. Must throughly read the text to do well on MC. Overally good guy. Offers optional assignment to gain a few extra marks!!!

He is an up-tight nerd! His exams were tricky...half of the content was on the lectures, and half on the text-book. The material was long and very detailed. For the final, he though everyone was cheating and kept on ranting about "keeping your eyes on your own exam"...like I said, he is an up-tight nerd!
