His online class was not bad. Pay attention to lecture and do the homework and you will be fine. Test questions are just like the hw. He responds to emails in a timely manner. His class is 5 exams and a final. The exams are 4 questions each, and the final is a bit longer. Put in the effort and youll be fine.

He is a very sweet teacher who replies back to emails fast. If you're good at Algebra 2 then you will get an A! Textbook and access code is not required because he doesn't have his quizzes online. He goes over the material during lecture classes so I highly recommend attending. Grades easy and gives credit for at least trying!

Took his 5 weeks online summer course. Lecture heavy, and relying on the textbook a bit too much. He assigns hws but they are not graded. Grade come from 20 questions (7 from quizs, 5 from midterm, 8 from the final). Making each question worth 5% of your grade, which is kinda nutty. Oh and he only take submission through email.

You just have to show up for quiz days which is once a week. The quizzes are straight from the HW problems. He tells you which sections are going to be on the test. I took calc in high school so this class was review for me. He grades exams a little harshly. Would def recommend this prof if you're looking for a laid back math class.

Weekly quizzes, so if you miss class, it's a big chunk of your grade. Went to office hours to get help and had no resources/advice for me. He is a sterotypical math professor. I really struggle with math, so for those of you that struggle I recommend looking for a different professor. Ended up paying for a tutor, but it was late in the semester.

There are quizzes every other class but theyre based on homework problems that aren't mandatory. AMAZING GRADER and gives partial credit. tells you exactly what you'll be tested on for all 3 tests and will drop 2 of your worst quiz grades. You dont have to show up on non quiz or test days just copy the lesson from the textbook. AMAZING PROFESSOR!

Math is my absolute weakest suit and I was terrified of calculus before I came into his class. The man is great! He grades mostly off effort and gives points just for trying to solve the equation and is an easy grader. Oh, and watch "Terminal" with Tom Hanks. Listen to the way he talks. That's exactly how Prof. Soltan speaks! One of the best profs!

This mans gives weekly quizzes that aren't graded and put into the grade book. Only 2 tests throughout the whole semester are given and only grades in the grade book. They are 4 questions only. Pass them and pass the class. Wouldn't recommend if you're looking for extra credit, or more opportunities to improve your grade.

Amazing guy. He is too smart for his own good, so you will most likely need to go over some material that he covered after class to make sure you get it. His test questions are basically pulled from textbook examples and hw problems (which he doesn't grade). He is a legend.

I had him in the summer and it was and it was one of the best experiences. He is very clear based on what he'll be testing on the exams. We had bi-weekly quizzes (during a regular semester you'll probably have 1 every 2 weeks. Only tip is when studying for his exams focus on questions assigned towards the end of ch.'s as they usually are similar

He's a really good professor and honestly the best choice for Linear Algebra. You only really honestly need to do the homework problems, understand them, and you will get easy A's on his exams because exams are based off HW and are easy. Don't mess up an exam cause those are the only grades in the class. He's also really funny with lots of jokes.

He is disrespectful. Relatively easy course but if he makes a mistake on your test when he hands them back to you he will assume you're cheating.

All of the grades in the class are based on exams so it is important to do well. His lectures are basically reading off his handwritten notes and doing some examples. Optional homework is assigned if you want more practice. Exams weren't tricky and could easily be finished in the time given

Great Professor. Class was easy, but still learned a lot. Attend the class before the exam, take good notes, and you will be sure to pass. He looks like Tom Hanks.

Hes an amazing, straight-forward professor. He explains exactly what needs to be known for exams, and wont teach you what wont be on exams. Do the homework and you have instant 100s for the exams. Hell tell you exact sections on exam. Class always finishes early everytime, so plenty of time for questions. Easy A, awesome professor.

Love him! Taking him for Linear algebra and he makes it very easy to understand. His tests are short and simple and he provides notes online. The only criticism I have is that his voice is so soothing it's not hard to drift off when he's lecturing. He's got jokes too lol

Your grade in this class is 3 MT and Final. Does review questions the class before test and when he hands the test back he goes over the test at the end of class. Test are similarly worded to homework problems so do the homework. Uploads all slides to his website so you dont really need to show up. Dont mess up or that could hurt your grade badlly

No worries about proofs in this class! Prof is clear and outlines well everything u need to know. Also gives sections to focus on for midterm and final, both where u get cheat sheet, and weekly quizzes. Can be boring lectures at times, final and quizzes worth more (40% ea), final was harder than midterm and quizzes. do,study hw to do well on these
