Comment:

My best memories at Holy Cross involve Amy, her courses, and our funny/geeky moments in class. If you care for Russian Literature, and if you (*ahem*) actually read... you'll love her. She's very pretty, too. I wish I was still in touch.

Comment:

Class is mundane, even though the subject matter (fairytales) should have been interesting. Papers were graded roughly even though what was expected wasn't clearly expressed. Nice lady and enthusiastic, but overall the class was not good. Started out interesting then quickly became boring and repetitive.

Comment:

Pretty nice, but a really tough grader. Sometimes don't know what she expects. Best wasn't really good enough though. Still it is an interesting class, and the subject matter is understandable. Make use of office hours, she's pretty helpful. Might want to take Russian as well, she knows it well. Pretty good class. (Emails not returned sometimes.)

Comment:

She is the Best teacher I have ever had at HC. She takes the time to make sure you understand the subject matter and doesn't give assignments unless it will aid your underdtanding of the material. Very clear and a very understanding woman. I would taker her class again in a heartbeat :)

Her classes were fun and easy, but looking back on them we learned very little. She didn't go into much detail on the subjects but expected alot in her essays- this, on top of her tough grading, led to grades lower then expected. She is also horrible at answering your emails, so dont even bother.

She is the worst professor I've ever had. I really felt as though I wasted a great sum of money once finishing her course. She is boring. She is condescending. She is a terrible professor. I did not learn anything.

eh...the class is very uneven, and I get the sense that (in the particular subject of folktale) she's learning it along with the students. Then again, class is pretty easy and generally fun. Recommended with caution.

very easy for russian lit- almost no discussion, mostly lecture so you can not read the assignmensts and is easy grader too
