Bruce is alright, if you don't understand a thing at the beginning of lecture you will fall behind because he goes way too fast. The labs were cool but they got boring after a while, you basically do the same thing after the 5th lab. Tests were too darn long as well. Nobody ever finished in 2 hrs. Good thing he was cool and gave us extra time.

Bruce is one of the best engineering teachers SDSU has to offer. The man is an absolute legend who really cares about his student's success and worships neatness. You learn everything in lecture so don't skip class and be on time cause lab attendance does matter. Make friends with the man early and he might hook it up with an internship at the end.

Great professor, genuinely cares about the students and the material. Does his part to help you learn, so he expects you to do the same. Show up to class, take notes, do hw, listen to what he says and keep a neat and organized lab notebook. Grade is split between lab and lecture, with 3 exams and a cumulative final. Book only used for hw.

Urquhart is a great professor. His lectures are easy to understand because he does enough example problems to make everything clear. While the content of this class is not always easy, if you do your homework and go to lecture you will definitely pass.

This helps you LEARN so well. you will have to work and you will learn alot but its very helpful. Go to lecture and the test is freaking easy. you have to go to labs. Be freaking perfect on your field books and interact in lab. you seriously learn alot and its not hard at all.

Bruce is one the the best teachers I've had yet at State. He genuinely cares for his students and is reasonable.He tries to get to know his students, makes himself accessible, and wants you to learn as much as possible. I'd have to honestly say that I've learned the most from Bruce out of all the classes I've taken in the past.

Awesome teacher. He teaches very practical material. The hw is straightforward and light. The tests are like the homework with a few curveballs. Fairly easy A or B with Bruce. The class is time consuming, but he makes it fun and interesting. A very sincerely nice teacher.

I'd had to follow much of everybody's comments and say that Bruce was a great teacher and pretty much is what all professors should strive to be for their students: helpful, caring, challenging, and fun. He helped me to realize that graduating as an engineer is a strong possibility, not just some dream...he also got me an internship...recommended!
