Comment:

Took Amy's 4320 class this semester remotely due to COVID-19 pandemic. We were graded on 5 quizzes, 5 assignments (conceptual quize) weekly discussion posts, and a final individual project. The entire course was very easy up until the final project, which was graded quite easily! Overall though she was very straightforward and the course was great

In the three years I have been studying at MUN, Dr Amy Warren has been my absolute favourite. She is extremely kind and gives individualized attention where it is needed she truly cares about you doing well. The material is interesting, and the textbook is one of the better ones out there. 100% would take again.

Amy is the best prof I have had at MUN. The course was well organized and very interesting. She cares about every single one of her students and would do anything for them. She expects the work in return and if you do that there should be no problem getting an A.

Amy is the best professor I have ever had. If you have the opportunity to take a course with her, please do it! She is there to truly help all of her students. The classes are so fun and interesting. The environment she creates in the classroom is so open and you really do learn a lot from her and the other students in the class.

Amy is amazing. She will go out of her way to help you and if you don't understand something, she will work with you until you do. She wants everyone to enjoy her classes and succeed. She makes her classes very interesting and she is super knowledgeable.

Amy is amazing! I was struggling in the course initially so I went to her for help. Came out with an almost impossible A! She is very very helpful! All I recommend is to participate and go to class. Work hard and you wil get rewarded! READ THE TEXTBOOK AND MEMORIZE THE TERMS!

Amy is very direct with what she expects out of students and is very compassionate! She understands that students often have a lot going on outside of her classroom and does everything she can to give everyone a fighting chance at an A. She's very sweet and smart! 1010 would recommend and take again!

I took the course via distance education. Prior to the midterm, assignment and final exam she organized an e-live session (video call)and sort gave us tips and answered any questions that students had. For me it was more like a tutorial because this prepared me well for the exams. She cares about her students, such a sweet prof :-)

Comment:

The sweetest, fairest, most genuinely caring professor that I have ever had. She is extremely approachable for questions. Her tests are fair and she explains concepts in an easy-to-learn and fun way. She is also very personal and makes it her mission to know everyone's names. By the end of the term, she's no longer your prof - she's your friend.

Comment:

By far the best teacher I have ever had a MUN. She gives amazing study guides.. write out the study guide and study it and you will do great! Alot of lists to remember/ memorization. Overall, she is really helpful and an awesome teacher!!

Excellent teacher. Really cared about how you progressed in her class. She gave out review sheets for all midterms and exams so you knew exactly what to study. She let us have one of our classes outside in the business atrium because it was nice out. She has a way of explaining the material and relating it to the real world.

Amy actually cares for her students which is one of the best traits you could ask for in a Professor. She made me want to concentrate in HR. Tests require lots of memorization but it isn't overwhelming. Go to class, listen, partake in discussions, do the study guides and you will do well!

I thought she was a great prof. her lectures were very fun. However, the entire course was based on memorization and it didn't help to learn anything, you only have to memorize the book. She was a good prof but very strickt marker.

Amy Warren is the best prof at MUN - no question. If you dont like her, than theres something wrong with you. If you think she marks hard, thats because YOU didnt put enough work in. You will not be bored in her lectures and she gives study guides to help you out. Goes way out of her way to help you and is the most approachable prof you will meet!
