If you are looking for an easy A do not take her. It is almost impossible to get a good grade! She will constantly find errors on whatever you are writting which is very frustrating. If you can take anybody else, please do. She is a good person but she is also all over the place. I am a great studen but she frustrated me the whole semester!

As a student, I tend to be more on the high achieving/neurotic side of things. Granted, this was during COVID-19, but prior to going remotely, she was very unclear regarding grades, assignment requirements, and other expectations. Overall, she is very unclear, tends to get off topic, and does not respond in a timely manner.

Comment:

Professor Lugo's class is a good choice. I was an ESL student and she told me that the transition would be difficult, however, she made it very easy and was helful. She's very clear about all the papers. There were 3-4 essays including MT & final and one term paper. She makes sure that you're going on the right track. Easy A if u put little effort

Professor Lugo is nice. sometimes she goes off topic. She does call out students in a joking manner if they did not do their homework. She's a little tough grader and there are barely any assignments to make a grade which I didn't like about the class and I ended up getting a B. She is not that strict or rude if u talk to her, she will understand.

Shes a wonderful professor. she wants the best for all her students and would help in any way to make them pass the class. you can always go to her office for questions and she is always ready to answer them. she also helps review research papers given from other classes and helps correct them.

Never on topic! She talks about random things and is never on topic of what we are supposed to be doing, but expects you to be on top of your work. Calls you out on your work in front of the whole class. I was so fed up with her that I dropped this class and took it next semester. I would never take her again!

Ms. Lugo is a really good teacher. I had her for Remedial English and then decided to take her again for English 121. She is humorous, easy, and understanding. As long as you show effort that you're trying and do the essays good you'll be just fine. Definitely recommend her!
