This man truly loves english! His poetry class was a lot of work. His tests were hard and took a lot of time to study for. He would give you quotes and you would have to chose 10 and state which poem it was from, the poet, and the significance. There was also an essay. He did allow extra credit though!

he is the most adorable teacher ever! he has such a passion for teaching and he gets so into the stories it's so cute. you need to read all the stories because sometimes he will call on you in class to answer a question. Such a happy man!!!!! Sick teacher all you do is sit there and listen to other peoples analysis papers on the stories. You have to write one yourself. There are 3 tests really easy if you study. I reccommend him!!!!!!!

He was an amazing professor, and truly a wonderful person. "I hope your day is going well"... and he always meant it. The literature was very interesting. In the beginning of the class I missed a reading and he called me out but it made me a better student. He loves when you participate. God bless him for his passion for teaching and hiskindness.

Such a sweet man, and I learned alot from him. passionate and cares. he wouldn't be happy with the grammar i'm using right now...lol but def. take him its not hard at all, its 6 essays (short, 2-3 pages) and 1 major research paper (only 5-7 pages). nice guy take him

he really is a great teacher. he is absolutly devoted to his field and truly cares about his students. although at times there is a lot to remember, the tests are not that bad and he does give you a chance for extra credit. i would recommend him, before i took this class i had no intrest in poetry whatsoever but now i appreciate it alot more.

The readings were easy and the classes werent too difficult besides the staying awake part, but the tests were horrible. He expected you to memorize every poem and author and title for everything you read. Sometimes this meant almost 30 poems a test. I wouldn't take this class unless you have an extra 10 hours to devote to poems.

Hes passionate and an understanding man. Hes lovely as a person. Poetry was the hardest class i took this semester and I had to do a ton of xtracredit to pass this class. HE used to be a a high school teacher so expect to be treated like a child, tho he will preach to you about being adults

i had him for short story, he takes realllly boring material and makes you pretty interested in it. Ive never had a teacher who was more passionate about what he was teaching and it makes you want to learn. The tests were easy as long as you kept up with the reading. If you take this class and hes not your teacher i wouldnt reccomend it

Absolute wonderful teacher! This was one of the best classes I have ever taken Very understanding and passionate about his work! You can tell he really cares about his students and wants you to do well! He gives you the information on the test the class before. As long as you read the stories you'll do great..most of them are pretty good anyway!

One of the best writing teachers I have ever had. Hes very clear with all of his assignments and does his best to give you a good grade. Extra credit is always available. Hes a great guy I'd recommend him to anymone

Great guy who is constantly looking to give you a good grade. Do the work and read the reading and you will recieve no lower then a B. Extra points are everywhere with him and he drops the lowest grade. He was a great teacher and i am psyched to be taking him again this semester coming up.
