Comment:

Run-of-the-mill class and professor. She was very nice and knowledgable about the subject material. The tests are fine as long as you know how to do the practice problems. Definitely go to class, because the problems we did in class were pretty much the whole test. She is reasonable about missing homework and having to miss class.

Comment:

Raging liberal but good professor and very clear. I enjoyed her classes but don't get her on politics. A bit grandiose about her previous job at Allergan, but it's palatable.

Comment:

I love Professor Wood's finance class. She is helpful, clear, and a good lecturer. Her tests can be hard but if you prepare well enough, B is achievable, A if you actually really understand the material. Participation does not matter so that's nice. Overall, Ms Wood is a very nice person and I will definitely take her again for Advance Finance.

Dr. Wood is awesome. I absolutely hated ACCT so I was afraid for this class, but she's super helpful and her tests aren't bad. Take her for Financial Mgmt if finance/acct isn't your strongest subject.

She is a nice professor but her class format is so complex...you have to buy alphia case, buy discussion cases, buy ebook. you have to set up lots of accounts which are a waste of time and which can make u frustrated...and u have to pay all of the cases and HWs...

For sure one of the better teachers at TCU. She makes class very interesting and her tests are not hard at all. The capital budgeting project also helps to boost your grade. BUT, the final is almost impossible, possibly because everyone's grades were so high but everyone I talked to received very low grades

Comment:

One of the best teachers at TCU. Some of these old reviews are not accurate as things have changed. You have 3 tests- the first is extremely easy, second is pretty tough, third is easy. Do well on the capital budgeting project and you will have a cushion going into the comprehensive final. It is extremely difficult. Dr. Wood however is great!

Financial Management class was one of the best I've taken mostly because she is a great teacher. She tells you exactly what is on the tests and she is very clear when explaining topics. She's really nice too if you go in to see her.

B Wood was a good teacher. She was very quick and fair with her grading and with all of her policies. Make sure to do the homework before the tests because most of the problems come from there. The projects are easy and a great way to boost your grade. She will probably try to cram a lot of chapters in at the end of the semester so be ware.

B Wood is a good teacher! She is willing to help you out and wants everyone to do well. She lets you keep your tests which makes the final alot easier. Get to right everything on a note card for the tests. Watch out though for the online portion can be tricky at times. Overall is a good teacher and has "motherly" influence on everyone.

Great Teacher. Know the practice tests and you will Ace tests. Very helpful and is willing to help you whenever. She also has some real word expierence with the material which makes it interesting.

Very fair. Very helpful. Teaches everything you need to know to Ace the tests. I thought this class was supposed to be a beast. But Prof. Wood really helped us all through it. Glad I took.
