Pretty easy, aside from guest lectures and a pointless 2 weeks about Walmart, everything is in the book so you don't really have to go until the Walmart unit at the end. Prof knows what he is talking about, class is fairly interesting. Read the book and the tests are pretty easy. Only got a c because I didn't do half the Walmart paper, too boring.

Found the lab a lot more useful than the lecture. He lectures about useless info re: GIS. More about the history than current issues. Tests were somewhat hard as a lot of the answers were not covered in lecture. I'm thankful the TA was cool.

I hated this guy. He was cocky, and rude. He hated to be corrected or disagreed with. he had obvious favorite students who usually agreed with him and he kept going to for answers he wanted to hear. He showed slides of his stupid trips half the time and tried to wirk them in to the class but it didn't work. the text was great thank goodness.

Lukinbeal knows his stuff, but the stuff he teaches isn't that useful if you plan on using GIS in a job. He focuses on facts/history of GIS, not how to use it on a daily basis. The labs are getting an overhaul, but this semester there wasn't much direction by the TA's in doing the assignments.

Have to write 3 papers and do 2 debates, but they're fun. Gets behind on lecture, but puts everything on blackboard and is very entertaining. Worthwhile class.
