This is not a hard class. She gives you plenty of extra credit opportunities. The multiple choice is tricky but do-able. The essays are easy as well. Listen in class- you really don't need the online textbook. I made a 107 and barely studied. Literally, just listen in class and review your notes.

This teacher is not easy but she is extremely fair. The test questions aren't meant to trick you. If you watch the videos, read the out of class readings, and pay attention to in class notes and you should be set. There are 10 extra points included in your grade so she is already out to help you. She is also really passionate about the material.

She's always talking about how much she loves history. Don't do anything but look at her. She yells at people for not looking directly at the slides. It's crazy. Tests are nothing like the notes. You expect the questions to be about what year things occurred. Instead it's "who was the 3rd person interviewed in the video we watched" it's ridiculous.

Her class is quite difficult. I don't recommend taking her class. You only have 3 quizzes and 3 test. She grade VERY harsh. She offers some extra credit though. This is my first year in college, her class made the transition from high school to college very difficult. To stay safe, Don't take her!!

She was very passionate about her subject. Her tests require you to study, and extra credit requires work. She tells you what to make sure you study for ahead of time and she tries to attend study sessions. She does go through slides pretty quickly, but they're posted online. Doesn't allow laptops except for just one--you need to take good notes.

Professor Carter is a GREAT teacher; she is very knowledgeable about her subject. I really enjoyed this class. You have to take good notes. I actually audiotaped the class, which helped. I would recommend her as a professor; she was very helpful and generous on extra credit to help you pass.

She knows her topic very well but she gives a lot of readings and too much information. No textbook but a mandatory website (about $50 registration fee) in which you'll get the readings and you'll have to do weekly quizzes(10% of the final grade). I recommand her if you're passionated by history and you work hard, otherwise don't take her class !!

I would not suggest her as a teacher AT ALL. She was not very helpful when I would come to her regarding my work, and she doesn't make the class interesting. However, she is very knowledgeable on the topic but she just makes it boring.

She is very nice, but by farthe most difficult class I'v ever taken. Notes don't match questions in class, you have to study HARD DAILY to do well or even keep up. You only get 3 exams and 2 quizzes, so if you bomb one you're done for. PLEASE DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!

Dr. Carter is NOT a hard teacher! All u have to do is take very good notes on everything she says in class.Nothing really came from the textbook. In order for u to preform well in this class u have to take good notes,STUDY THEM DAILY,read assigned readings,do the extra credit offered & actually attend each class. If u do all that u should be st8.

Her class is a lecture class with power points. You have to be a good note taker and pay attention in her class. Also have to study and be in class every day to pass. She is very helpful and even gives extra credit. Wonderful teacher but it can be a hard class. There are only 3 tests and 2 quizzes. If you really study, you will pass the class.

Her class is lecture styled with power points . You Have to be a good note taker and study and be in class everyday to pass. She is extremely helpful and is willing to help. She even gives extra credit and rounds up toward the end of the semester. Wonderful teacher but moderately hard. Tip : Review your notes after every class until test day.

You don't have to do too much reading if you take good notes in class. Use History class and read the extra documents and watch videos. If you form a study group she will come to it and give extra help. Exams are always a positive curve. She gives ample opportunities for extra credit. Only downside is history covered in semester 1492-present.

Great Professor. seriously the easiest class I had. theres only 3 exams and 2 quizzes. All I did to get an A was come to class, take simple notes, and the night before the exams read through my notes. I seriously did 5 days worth of studying in there (each the night before) and got an A. And she offers like 20% worth of final average extra credit.

She really loves what she is teaching about but you HAVE to study...if you study you will not fail whatsoever, but you have to study like crazy and there is A LOT to study and there is a slight chance of an A. You never use the textbook and come to every class is a must! 3 exams...no papers(which is nice)
