I wasnt a fan but I still got an A so he isnt a terrible professor. I didnt ask questions in his class because his responses were condescending. Just pay close attention and go to all the lectures.

Biology Today online with Dr. Doe was really simple. There is weekly discussions, homework, and virtual labs. This was great because the class counted towards a lab science but was done online. He graded assignments quickly and was quick to respond if there were any questions. I would recommend taking this for the lab science requirement.

Dr. Doe is probably the smartest man in Westfield. Too smart for students own good, however as he expects hard concepts to be easily conveyed. He grades on very little assignments so as long as you're up to date and getting decent grades you don't have much to worry about. Taking good notes are key for exams.

Doesn't talk loud or clear in class. Doesn't post slide shows on class and we don't use the textbook at all. Explains things poorly and the few exams we have are the majority of your grade so if you do bad on one exam then you are screwed.

He is a very smart guy, unfortunately, because of this, he assumes that you will catch on quickly. The material was difficult and the lectures were hard to remain focused to due to him speaking rather monotonously. He is always open to questions and can be good at explaining concepts when asked.

I took this class over the summer and it was very difficult. Doe is a great professor and can answer any question you need him to but his lectures are very boring and it was hard not to fall asleep. His tests are hard but reflect the material and he gives a study guide.

Would not recommend this class. He's a nice person but when it comes to teaching it became difficult. Things were very unclear because the lecture would go off rambling about something you were not sure was important or not. Really an auditory class so if you are not an auditory learner this course will be difficult for you.

Really nice person. I enjoyed his lectures. He does expect you recall info from previous courses and encourages a deeper process of thinking in biology, esp in the 200 and 300 level courses. Which is beneficial to YOU.

He is hard, he expects you to read and know what you read. His lectures alone will not get you a good grade in this class, you need to put the extra time into it. That being said, he is a great guy and I have heard he is more passionate about the upper level classes he teaches.
