He is the worst instructor ever known to mankind. I went based off of all the other ratings written on him. Turns out to be they were false. He doesn't care will fail you unless you don't already have a solid understanding of government.

10 pop quizzes, usually at the beginning of class. Then 3 big exams that include multiple choice, 6 short questions, one essay and some questions for bonus points. He also gives exam reviews that are just like the exam He doesn't have the best temper but his lectures are good. He is also always willing to help you succeed IF YOU SHOW UP TO CLASS

Took Professor Leblanc for Texas Govt. Not a bad professor, he gets a little rattled by students when they ask too many questions that are off topic, but other then that he's nice. Lectures are easy to follow and they usually saying whats in the book. Homework isn't too hard and the final is not comprehensive so another plus and doesnt grade harsh.

His teaching method involves student participation which uniquely involves each student into class discussion. This helped me stay attentive in class, and know the material. The class isn't hard at all as long as you do your work.

Professor Leblanc is the best government professor. He truly is passionate about government and it shows during his lectures. I got an A+. His work is easy and he explains everything so clearly so you understand throroughly. If you do the work, youll do fine on his tests and quizzes. He requires a textbook, but I never used it and got an A.

Professor LeBlanc took material that had the potential to be difficult and made it interesting and enjoyable. I would definitely take a class with him again. Go to class. Tests and quizzes come primarily from his lectures , but I would do the reading too. Dont be late. It is disrespectful and clearly annoys him.

Professor LeBlanc seems like a very nice man who has been teaching too long. He knows the material and seems to enjoy the topic but it is easy to see when he is in a bad mood walking through the door. His lectures can drag on and be unorganized. Even though he uses PowerPoint, he rarely uses it to structure the lecture.

People who think of him as a hard teacher probably don't want to take the class but have too. He is not that hard he test you on stuff that he talks about its easy, just show up listen and pass. And participate

He clearly knows what he's talking about and answers your questions concisely and clearly. Gives an assignment for each exam that could also be used as a study guide. You'll occasionally do group exercises that are relevant to the course material, and they really immerse you in the realm of Texas politics. Take. This. Teacher. You won't regret it.

He is a great professor to learn from. He explains the topics very good. I do not like government but I enjoyed his class. His exams are a combination of multiple choice, short answers, an essay and bonus questions. He takes pop quizzes, each are worth some extra points. One term project and 3 very easy assignments that R used as study guide.

Truly a nice guy - but it was a good thing I am on the same political side of the fence! A conservative student might find it hard not to stop the lecture and contest his every word!

Great professor, one of my favorites. Participation matters as he wants you to think for yourself, not just learn for the test. Respects diverse opinions if well argued. Pop quizzes are usually on text book. Tests are multiple choice, 2-3 short answer, essay and 2-3 bonus questions. Pay attention, speak up in class, take this prof if you can!

He wants you to interact and then pushes your question aside. His notes aren't what the text book says and don't expect the textbook on the test too much. He is funny and loves to start debates but if your dealing with real world issues, he kinda shoves you to the side.

Has really interesting content and wants the class to be dynamic. Participation is important in this class. His tests are multiple choice, short answers, and also have an essay portion. The final project is really easy once you find you topic and if you meet with him and discuss it he makes it even easier. Overall EASY A.

Prof. Leblanc is not the easiest professor. You must read the book and review class notes in order to make a good grade in his class. He is very easy to learn from but you must pay attention to lectures.

I had no interest in government before this class. Prof. Leblanc made it interesting. I took him for both 2301 in the summer and 2305 in the fall. I would highly recommend him. He is not easy. Lectures are absolutely necessary to do well on tests. He likes it if you participate. I skimmed the book. There will be a few questions on each test from it
