Hes awesome! Tests are pretty easy as long as you study, and all the writing assignments are done in class! I loved coming to this class, the lectures are very good and the workload was light. Dont buy the book, we never used it.

Funniest professor Ive had, really laid back. 3 exams and 3 in class writing assignments thru the semester. Dont bother getting the book, no homework. Would take his class again, great guy.

He's such an awesome guy! He keeps lecture fun an interesting, and he shows a few movies in class. His tests are fairly easy and if you look over the material theres no way you won't do good. There are also class exercises that you do in groups, so it is not just a boring lecture. 100% would recommend him because he's such an awesome teacher.

Nigel was an absolutely amazing teacher! So funny, and cared a lot about his students. Only three tests, which was amazing, and they were all very easy as long as you listened in class. He posts study guides on his website and reviews in class. Overall great professor!

I've had a great experience in his class: he cares a lot about every student and his job. He's super clear about expectations and will give you everything you need to get an A, all you have to do is go to class and study from the study guides he gives you. He finds ways to make his class relevant and enjoyable, I highly recommend him.

Professor Dobereiner's Comm Tech class is one of the most enjoyable classes I have taken so far here. He is an extremely easy grader as long as you include what he asks for in your projects. Projects are not difficult, and he is very helpful. I highly recommend taking this class or having him as a professor if you have the opportunity!

I woke up on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays so excited to go to his class. Besides the fact that I love communications, he made the class fun while knowing exactly what he was talking about. He's experienced in the field and makes the class easy to follow with examples and videos, etc.

Super nice and funny guy. Gives simple easy assignments, watch a lot of movies in the class but they're interesting. Overall great class. Never used the textbook though even though he stressed it in the beginning of the class, wouldn't purchase it if I were to take it again.

Comment:

Best professor in the Communication Department at Westfield State. He has a good sense of humor and his class is never dull. Never assigns HW and he is an easy grader if u just follow all the requirements. I would suggest taking a class with him even if you are not a Communications major.

He is a funny guy who wants everyone to succeed. The class consists of exams, in-class writing assignments, note taking and movies. Tests are always multiple choice. He does a great job presenting information clearly. His notes are easy to read and understand. A great professor for anyone going into communication.

nigel is amazing. there is some pretty dry information in this course, but he does a great job of making it interesting. he does impressions and tells great jokes. probably one of the most fun and energetic professors at westfield. cancels class before thanksgiving and his final is on the last day of class. no midterm either.
