Dr. Durr is a great professor, and I really enjoyed taking his class. If you are looking for an easy A and not wanting to put in any effort, this class is not for you. On the other hand, if you are willing to put in the effort and take pride in your financial education, Dr. Durr is the best around. Not to mention his jokes are pretty funny.

I would say 40% of the material on the test is not well covered in class! He has a great personality but doesn't teach whats on the test. I would not recommend taking him for anything thats not required.

Dr. Durr is very enthusiastic. Take this class and you will learn a lot and you'll have fun doing it! He passes out candy on random days and he'll have a food party in the finance center at the end of the semester. He loves making students happy. Put forth an effort to succeed and he will help you achieve your goals!

Relatively disappointed coming out of this class. I enjoyed Dr. Durr personally, but in the classroom, he wasn't much help. His expectations were not clear and he offered essentially no insight on what to expect going into exams. He teaches a couple of the required finance area classes, but I would avoid for any electives if you could.

Dr. Durr is by far one of the best professors at Murray State. He is willing to help students at all cost and work with you if you have problems. You need to study for the test but he is fair and puts on the test what he covers in class. Definitely recommend this teacher and course.

Great professor! I highly recommend him! He knows his stuff, really tries to keep you interested and he's very enthusiastic. You can tell he likes his job and cares if you learn or not. If you go to class and actually study outside of class time you should do just fine.
