He is a extremely helpful and excellent professor!! The class is really fun and he has so many fun stories. Every week you have to read a ch. from the book and take a quiz, they are pretty straight forward and the test are super easy. Take professor Marble!!

From the beginning he tells you what he expects, follow the syllabus and be aware of deadlines. If you do those two things, you'll be happy with your grade. Only used the book for quizzes and referenced occasionally for discussion posts. Very easy grader. You put in the time, you have yourself an A!

I took his course online and it was fairly easy. There are only 14 quizzes/discussioins. There was also 3 written assignments where you have to visit a court, police department, and a jail. Honestly, it wasn't a hard class. Just do the work on time and you'll do fine. I made an A. :)

Took Prof Marble for his Sensational Trials of Modern America, a learning community class. Awesome experience! He is really nice, great teacher, fair grader, and promotes class discussions, which made the class fun. I would take him again! His Learning Community class was the best I've ever taken.

Professor Marble is outstanding. He has practical experience in the field, grades very fairly and allows a lot of freedom in the discussions. The online class was great and as long as you complete all discussion, assignments and quizzes you will do well. Highly recommended.

He's a good teacher and knows his stuff. What got me is the tests; I did the make up tests which are essay and I thought I did well, but didn't get the grades til the last day of class! Read the chapter to pass the quizzes; the test in class fairly easy, part of it's group work. Don't take make up test unless necessary, or find out grade quick!

Prof. Marble is interesting & his Learning Community Class with Dr. Coulter-Sensational Trials is a hoot! Really enjoyed both Profs. & had an extremely DIVERSE class! JFK Memorial on field trip = good fun! If you need a History credit & want to investigate Criminal Justice, give this Learning Community a chance. Really enjoyed & got an A!

Took his sensational trials learning community (with Coulter for HIST1302). He's really into his subject and has field experience. He mostly lectures and shows slides, but also frequently encourages class discussions. Looks for very specific details in exam essays... Overall, though, he's a great professor.

Great teacher, attendance and timeliness are a must as there are quizzes every day. Quiz questions appear on tests so take good notes. Very willing to work with students and has a good time. I was afraid of his "group testing" idea, but give it a shot it works out for the better! Take it and have fun!
