I agree with the other student comments. DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS UNLESS U WANT A C OR WORSE. The professor does not know how to make her lectures interesting. If you miss a class you are guaranteed a C or worse in class.

If you attend her class and take good notes, you can easily get an A. There is no book but its pretty easy to know what you will be tested on if you go to class. It was an interesting class although I did find her to seem against the Catholic Church which kind of got old to listen to her comments.

DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS. Ffolliott is a boring lecturer and what is worst she does not emphasize important words that will be on the EXAMS! She will mention a word once and EXPECT you to remember it and give a 50 word definition of it on the EXAM. SO AGAIN I WARN ALL MY FELLOW STUDENTS AT GMU. THE PROFESSOR IS NO GOOD. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS.

I love P. ffolliott she is incredibly smart and so enthusiastic about the topic she teaches. She's a sweetheart who is always willing to help and expand your thoughts on a certain subject more. She is fair and just expects a lot from her students. Yea she grades a bit hard but she also hands you more info than she needs to so that you can do well

P. ffolliott is demanding, but not outrageously so. The tests are very hard, with a lot of writing, but the homework is reasonable. Make sure to take A LOT of notes. There is no textbook; everything is on the class Website. Extremely informative for Art History majors as assignments are very pertinent to that field, but non-majors might get bored.

Very helpful and reasonable. Be sure to take plenty of notes- that’s what your exams are going to be on. She made the class interesting, many say it’s boring but keep in mind- it’s art history. I’d take her again.

I have to agree with other comments here.Boring,unhelpful,Nazi about grading,papers,exams,& late work.Makes irrelevant comments then tells you your comments are irrelevant.Insane workload-4 papers usually due a week apart,2 exams she doesnt prepare you for,atleast 3 museum visits,weekly journal,then a ton of weekly chapters and articles to read.

Made art history very boring, and I normally love it! Lectures are dull, slow, though full of factual information. Tests are pretty difficult unless you studied your notes and book very thoroughly. Did I mention how LONG her lectures are?!

Pretty good professor! She made a fairly boring subject somewhat interesting. My only problem with her was her tests... Who is gonna remember what date some 16th century painting is from when it is one of one-hundred we have looked at that semester... Other than that I Recommend her!

Utterly unforgiving grader. Large amounts of memorization needed for each test. She will choose the most obscure pieces to test on and many of them. During the tests she does not allow enough time to finish so write quickly. Same for pop quizzes
