Easiest class ever! I showed up to maybe three classes the hole semester. There is a quiz every week on the reading but all the answers are on online if you google the first question. The two writing assignments were cake as well. Also there is no final! He's very interesting to listen too and class has a lot of information if you attend.

GREAT CLASS! Online class that lets you work at your own pace. The only due date is everything has to be turned in by midnight of the last day of the semester. NO BOOK! 5 500 word papers and a super easy 6 question final!

Never helpful. I emailed him twice about an essay question and I never received a response. It was an online class so I never had the opportunity to see him face to face. Regardless, the course was easy. Some of the material seemed like it was copied and pasted. There seemed to be very little interest in teaching the class

Fantastic professor! He gives out a lot of detail in more than one way to understand. The papers due are interesting topics and easy to research. Take him if you?re a CRJ major.

This guy is just plain a really nice person. I also took CRJ 270 (online) from him. Sometimes the exam material didn't quite align with the readings or the lecture material, but he curved to adjust for that so it all came out okay in the end.

Alan Mentzer is a great teacher. I went to his class almost everyday of the semester. He even went out of his way to give me legal advise on behalf of my brother-who was put in jail for erroneous charges. He's not just a professor, he is a friend.

Professor Mentzer is very engaging he took a class that I had very little interest in and made it interesting. Attendance was not mandatory, but I found myself going everyday! Highly recommended!!

Excellent professor. I took him online so I don't know if he's "hot" or not, but he is extremely helpful & will answer lots of questions outside of class about all the aspects of law enforcement. He encourages further learning & gives opportunities to do so. HIGHLY recommended!
