The lab reports assignments are created by him, and his TAs graded them. He know chemistry very well and is a very interesting person fun lectures so the the stress level is not high. Not very much homework. The purpose for his class is to grow your thoughts, and inspire you to come up with solutions to environmental problems. FUN class!!

This class was harder than previous years because of Shock. He is all over the place with his lectures, and by the end of the year, I stopped showing to lectures because it was minimal help for his exams. For the exams, you have to do outside research to complete the study guides that he gives, and not from lectures.

This guy's kooky and fun. Definitely interesting to learn from and sometimes uses teaching methods that make students participate instead of sit there uselessly without thinking.

OK. Dr. Shock's expects you to be a responsible student and gives you lots of independence. He is very laid back. If you show up to class, complete assigned reading and HW, and show just a little original thinking you will get an A.
