Flavia doesn't value our time (start class late & kept us after when she didn't get through it all. She interrupted us when we tried to answer her question &got upset when we would ask her to repeat. I asked questions, she made me feel unintelligent for not understanding. Always behind schedule b/c "we can learn it next semester."easily distracted.

Comment:

Flavia gets kind of a bad rep, but I was pleasantly surprised. Her teaching is sorta all over the place, but workload isn't overly difficult. She's quirky and (usually unintentionally) hilarious. You just have to go with the flow and enjoy it. She can come off as haughty, but she's actually a total sweetie once you figure her out. Justice 4 Flavia!

She was a horrible professor! Late to class daily, then would keep us late. There is also no reasoning or logic to the way she grades. I would not recommend her to an enemy.

I had Flavia for two years...Italian was my minor, she is a riot and a great teacher. Her stories about her dad are awesome and she gets so involved in what she teaches! A true Italian!
