Comment:

I took programming logic with him and the average grade without a curve was a 55%. With a curve i endeded up doing alright but he has no idea what he is teaching . I know c++,c#,sql and i had a hard time understanding what the hell he was talking about, He is a great guy, but his teaching is a little dated, not sure he has programmed in 15 years

Fred is a great guy. Took his Access class and did well. He is very knowledgeable but sometimes has a hard time dumbing himself down when answering questions. He is very helpful and will go out of his way to help you.

Fred is a sweet and smart man. He's a little too smart, sometimes. He goes beyond the students level. I was able to pass his class quite well, but it was only because I was very familiar with this subject. If you ASK he will help. Tests questions are extremely hard to understand and are not discussed in class.

Fred is a great guy - horrible instructor. Teaches on a very low level - tests on a very high level. Sorry Fred - find something you can do well. Give up teaching.

Extremely smart... just doesn't come at explanations quite the right way sometimes. A few key words whispered to a classmate would usually spark their understanding. Glosses over some tougher "set-up" knowledge only to spend more time on the in-depth topic you needed the "set-up" for.

Very nice guy. Very accomidating to specific learning styles. I was able to go through 7 chapters of the 8 with just the book. Chapter 8 was the only one I needed to go to class about. Recommended if self-motivated.

Very smart, but doesn't teach well. Tries to be helpful, but doesn't explain well. Book sucks and tests are worse. Tests are canned and definately try to sabotage you rather than determine what you know.
