Comment:

Mr. Emanuel is an excellent professor. I hate Chem. and when I took Aquino I had to drop. Mr. Emanuel breaks Chemistry down into terms I could really understand. All you have to do is STUDY and GO TO CLASS. The only people I heard complain were the students who skipped all of the time. I highly recommend him.

Prof. Emanuel is super easy!! i made c's on the test and made a B in the class! he offers extra credit that ads about 10 points to EVERY test! he replaces the lowest test grade with your final and give you reviews that are exactly like the test. The final are the 3 test that you already took so theres no new stuff! over all very helpful and EASY!

OK if you just want to get through chem with minimum effort. Tests ar'nt so bad(considering the subject) and he gives extra cred. Word of caution, make sure you ask him to clarify himself as he likes to to go over stuff too quickly. He likes to see students do well but don't expect him to tutor you.For an old guy, he tries to 'hip' with the class.

Good teacher. Slightly unclear when he writes on the board, sometimes you have to ask him what he wrote (like he leaves out 'n' for moles and just writes a generic equation and forgets you don't know the specific equation you need).

Mr. Emanuel is by way the best chemistry teacher I've ever taken. He explains things so well and it's really understandable even in a 5 week summer course! He's really good about helping you out! Oh and summer class OWL is extra credit :) would recommend him to anyone!

All I can say is...I WISH HE WAS TEACHING CHEM II THIS SEMESTER!! He is by far the easiest Chem professor you'll have. I hate Chem with a passion but he made it painless. You still have to study though but you don't need the book for his class. His notes are good and if you have questions ASK! Labs are a joke...they're what pull your grade up. I fa

First, KNOW YOUR VALENCES. He will give you a list the first day, memorize it. It was the difference between an A and a B for me. His reviews ARE a lot like his test. He isnt going to give you the test answers. You still have to work. He is hard to understand sometimes. I probably wouldnt take him again. I didnt learn much from him.

There were so many positive comments about Mr. Emanuel that I couldn't wait to take his class - BUT NOW I WONDER WHAT THOSE PEOPLE WERE TALKING ABOUT! Sure, he's a nice enough guy, but he gets irritable when questions are asked. His tests are NOTHING like his reviews. I am generally an A+ student but I will be lucky if I sqeak by with a low B. :(

He is a very good teacher. Chemistry is hard to understand and at the beginning of class I was a little confused but he explains things well. His test are duplicates of his reviews. If you can do his review you will pass the test no problem. His labs are easy as he walks you through them before hand. I would take him again.

Mr. Emmanuel presented lecture material clearly, concisely, and was very helpful in clarifying & explaining. He comes across as a very kind, easy spirit. It was a laid back and very effective learning eperience. I was unfamiliar with Chemistry before his class...now I'm actually considering Chem Engineering instead of Mechanical.

I'm taking him in the summer and so far it's been good. I like that I took summer cause OWL is extra credit for summer students. Helpful... also teaches good. If you must take Chem, take him.

Chemistry was not what I thought it would be. I struggled, but did the OWL for extra credit and passed. He helps you, but never take it in the summer-it was too fast. He is a caring and nice teacher though. Some people get it some don't. I barely made it. Practice the problems over and over. Good luck!

Comment:

Professor Gary is a very good at what he does. He is very helpful and is a bit sarcastic. But you have to realy study if you want atleast a B. OWL ( online homework) is a pain in the neck because is time consuming. Take him. Overall he's good. Is up to you if you want to pass!!!
