The tests are take home, which is nice, but don't let that fool you. Every questions is a trick question, and even though he gives you the opportunity to "challenge" them, good luck. Probably the biggest hypocrite I've ever met. Tells you to not read into a question so much, then tells you to read into another more. Horrible teacher.

Kinda quirky, very smart, great teacher. Tests are hard but very doable. Show up to class, take good notes and read the book. The worst part about the class is the chatterbox girls in the back couple rows, they are very distracting. George is great, taking his class will flood your brain with knowledge!

I love George Darkenwald!! He genuinely cares about teaching and his students. He is an intellectual with a creative mind which is difficult for some students to keep up with him. If you study every night like your supposed to, be respectful and a good listener, you will do great in his class!!!:0)

Discussed his own cases that had nothing to do with the course. Does not return emails or voice messages. Tests are very confusing. Does not care about the students. Goes against school policy and is very unethical regarding academic needs for the students. Really is here for the paycheck. Avoid, he really does not care about teaching.

Some people love George. I thought he was a snoozer. Lecture was disorganized and contradicted the text book sometimes. However, all tests were take-home. Do the test individually and then hook up with a group to compare answers. Guarantee you'll get an A that way. If you just copy others' answers and/or don't come to class, no group will have you.

George is an awesome instructor. The students love him. He is very professional, smart and creative. He's caring with the students and will go the extra mile to help them. I love his classes so much, and am learning a significant amount of information for my legal profession :o) !!!!!!!

Love his classes! His lectures take some time to get used to, but he knows his stuff. The majority of the grade is based on take home exams which are very time consuming, but they teach you tons. Just be sure to take lots of notes and his classes are great!

Comment:

George is a smart attorney that knows his stuff but isn't afraid to listen to others. His lectures can be kind of weird but if you participate in class, they are usually fun. I was in class 90% of the time and must of spent 10 hours on homework the whole quarter and I got an A. If you can do the same you will do well too. Enjoy the take home tests!

Very smart guy. You'll learn a lot if you take this class. Take home tests are most of the grade and they take hours to do because there's so much stuff to look up but when the test is done you realize you learned TONS from it so it's good.

He talks about one thing, then switches to another topic,... then back to what he was talking about before. He is way to confusing. Although it is tough to understand he is VERY smart on this subject. I would only recommend this class if you NEED it. If not then don't take this class.

Had him for many classes. Has a great sense of humor, although you need to be smart enough to catch some of the jokes. He allows for good in class arguments if you know what you are talking about. With the tests I DONT recommend working in groups, you will be leeched off of or they might give you the wrong answers so you learn to do it yourself

Interesting little guy. He's EXTREMELY LIBERAL and is not open to any conservative views at all. He has good information but annoying mannerisms and can be dry at times. I liked the take home tests because you can work in groups, so get to know someone smart.

This man is my hero.... there is not a teacher at SPSCC with more expereience in their topic... he has tried huge cases and brings all of his experience to the classroom... has amazing first hand stories for almost every topic.. take home tests are challenging but all MC so that is nice, always bumps up the test grades, a great very interesting man
