I asked her for extra credit to pull up my grade.. she tries to make u feel dumb she said, `if u cant do it on the test u cant do the extra credit` its like hello its called tutoring, its called Ive done hw just bad on the one problem `quizzes` which btw were 100 pts! if a student makes effort to raise their grade, she should give them a chance!

AWFUL professor. She was SO rude to students. I spoke with people from the math dept and they even wouldn't recommend her. She can have 2 identical tests infront of her and grade them completely different based on who she likes. I got a B in the class but thanks to LOTS of tutoring! Take FINLEY!!

She was really easy. As long as you take notes and show up to class, you'll be fine. I've always had trouble in math, but the way she would explain stuff made it very accessible. she was really nice and had a cool sense of humor, I guess no one got on her bad side in my class. Her tests were easy and I got an A in that class.

I took math 163 with her during SP 2007. If you fail her first 2 test and she will tell u to drop her class,and she will tell you that if u want stay in her class u can,just play the fail and pass game with her.She is the worst teacher you even seen in your life. She's a such **** doesn't know how to teach.NEVER TAKE MATH WITH HER, SHE WILL FAIL U

Fall 2006. She is very ruff. Stright to the point. It was a wake up call to me if you ever imagined a old school college professor this is it. The notes that she gave helped me out more then the book and homework. Grades include: Finial, top 2 of 3 tests, top 4 of six quizes.

Someone earlier said, "Don't make her mad." My scores were good at first. Then I missed one homework assignment. My scores then went into the toliet. While studying for the final with peers, I noticed that on tests I had been deducted more points than others who made the same mistakes. And the comments about ridicule in the classroom, are true.

If you want easy, look elsewhere, if you want to learn Professor Hemmer is great. Her lectures are especially good. She tells not just what to do, but why and what does it mean. Tests are challenging but very fair. Homework load is a bit high, but tests reflect the homework and class lecture examples very well

She is very terrible in explaining things clearly. just because she has been teaching this class for a long time, does not mean that new studnets should know all the material like her. She DOES redicule every studnets who asks a question. Her office hours are helpless because if I ask her something she would tell me to ask ther studnets !!!
