Professor Millen is a great teacher. I took his class for A&P1. He does require allot of studying, but if you study hard the material he specifies you'll do fine. I aced the class with ease. He tells you what to study and know, and as long as you study it your golden. If the class misses the same question on his tests he throws it out.

Once you look past his crude sense of humor and blunt personality, Millen is actually a great teacher. The exams are difficult, but there are no surprises. He tells you exactly what to expect and even provides a few answers. Questions that the majority of the classes misses are not counted. His lectures are easy to follow

Horrible teacher, takes a lot of points off for spelling. Tests do not match what is taught. When you ask questions he tells you should know this already. I am 46 years old. I am re-learning this, paying him to teach me. Everyone had d's on tests, only thing that allows you to pass is homework.

bc of his daily rants on subjects that barely pertain to what you are learning he gets behind schedule. By the end of the semester you have a 200 question test once a week. He bounces back and fourth through his powerpoint (that he will change right before the test) and a cd. He is sexst. He truly believes females shouldnt get an education.

Very hard. Doesn't go over everything you need to know. He doesn't specify what will be on his 185 question tests. The tests were ridiculous. No way I would ever reccomend this teacher to anyone else.

I had professor Millen for both A & P I and II. Best teacher you can take for these to classes. He provides you with printed materials so that you know what to study for his test. I got an A. You just have to study hard,pay attetion, and make sure your at all his lectures.

This is my pick for Anatomy teachers in Lecanto. He is a bit disorganized at times and goes off subject at times but his class is passable and you learn at the same time. He does assign lab assignments and worksheets that helps your grade, plus the test are hard but manageable. I wish he was teaching A&P 2 in the fall. I recommend Dr. Millen!!

I'm surprised Dr. Millen has so many bad ratings. I had him for A&P I and II and loved his class. He tells you what you need to know for the tests and is helpful as long as he knows you're serious about learning. His tests are pretty hard, but you can still earn a decent grade from the lab assignments and HW worksheets.

Cell phones are a bad word. If you have one, turn it off! He gives a study guide that he informs you the first day of class where to find it. If you study that, you will pass. He likes power points. He knows and lives his subject. If you pay attention you will learn something. I learned that the hard way, now having to retake his class.

I just had Dr. Millen for A & P II. He is a hard teacher but I failed almost every test with a "D" or and "F" and still passed the class with a "C" just by turning in all the labs.

Dont buy a book b/c he uses a completely different edition. He expects you to master the book & so his lectures have no direction. Asking for help/clarification is useless, he tells you to ask other students. He is absent 60% of the time but expects you to keep up when he crams all he missed. I am an diligent honor student and I failed this class.

Absolutely horrible Professor, he should not even be teaching at this point. Which he doesnt he just reads from slides, and his tests are out of a different book then the one you use, so you have practically a 0% chance of getting anything better then a C on any of his tests. He does offer testbank which is really unhelpful and pointless.

He is very hard. He uses tests from another book to test you on instead of the current biology book which I think is unfair. His tests are very long usually well over 100 questions. I am a very good student and never got higher than a C on any of his tests.

nothing he talks about is ever on the test. If you want an A you have to teach yourself, read and reread you book. Does offer test bank which is very helpful, he takes 100% of his test questions from the test bank, so memorize them and you will do fine.

doesn't teach the class, just shows slides and reads off them. Does not provide materials needed to study from which most teachers provide. It is a self taught course...
