Glenn was an amazing English professor that truly loves his job. He was my dual credit English professor and was the best one I had that year. He quickly gave feedback on papers to help better the piece. Always made himself available to answer questions both in and outside of the classroom. Extremely knowledgeable on a variety of subjects.

Great professor for a class that can be difficult for some. Will work with your skill set, no matter how advanced. Very laid-back and funny guy, cares about his students. Readings are not mandatory, but will add to your class experience. Lots of papers, but as long as you get them done at length and on time, you should be fine. I enjoyed his class.

Great man and teacher! cares about all his students and treats them with respect, doesn't look down on you. focuses on improving your writing skills and gives essays more than test. expects you to do your job and he leaves prompts pretty open for you to write about something that interest you.

I just did other homework in his class. It was extremely long because I only saw him once a week. He is very helpful when stuck on what to write for a paper. Talks about random things that do not deal with English.

Glenn is my favorite professor and I would take him every chance I get! We wrote 3 papers this semester. Each paper had 3 drafts so we had a draft due each week. but it was so easy! he gave such good feedback and helped at every chance he could! HILARIOUS! I went to his class just to hear the stories he told. LOVED GLENN!

Loved taking this class and love this professor! He is extremely smart and caring. Gives great feedback on assignments and gives plenty of time to correct them. If you do the work and listen to his feedback, you should get an A. He also knows a lot about EKU, and is willing to help with things outside of his class! Definitely recommend!

Glenn is my absolute favorite professor. He has so much faith in each student and, while other professors focus on grammar or spelling, he focuses and grades on ideas. He even will make audio recordings of feedback and email them to you or use a typewriter to make notes on your papers. He always offers to help with projects even for other classes.

He is awesome! He talks A LOT and is so smart. He gives great feedback on papers and is a fair grader. Makes you feel very confident in your writing and wants to do everything he can to better your skills.

Dr. Jackson is definitely one of my favorite professors that I've ever had during my college career. He's funny, kind, and genuinely interested in what you as a student has to say. He not only reads everything you write, but gives very constructive feedback as well. I cannot recommend him highly enough.

If you dont have an extensive vocabulary dont take him, he uses huge words all the time. if you have him for a night class you have to stay the full 3 hours even if hes rambling about stupid stuff hes gonna make you stay. He gives a 2 question quiz every week over chapters you were suppose to read & he gives a hard midterm & final but hes helpful.

He definitely expects high quality work from his students without much prior instruction. BUT: he provides excellent feedback on how to improve your writing. Each of my four papers I saw improvement on as I went on in the semester. Genuinely cares about his students' success which is so important. Happy, helpful guy. Definitely recommend!
