Great guy. Lectures are a bit boring, but it's not that bad. Not much homework which is really nice, gives you a lot of time to do it, and is straight forward. There are quizzes here and there, but they are totally fair. The tests are fair as well. As long as you pay attention and study, you should be perfectly fine.

Comment:

Prof. Gao is a really nice guy and good professor. Class can be difficult to understand at times and get boring with the long lectures. Homeworks help with the tests and he gives you a clear review for both midterm and final. One sided cheat sheet. Only take him if you like a professor with few grading materials. If you need a management class, take Professor Gao. Lets you use a single sided cheat sheet for the mid term and final. He does a midterm and final exam review before every class and goes over literally everything that's on the tests, so those are basically the only 2 classes you need to pay attention for. Three assignments, group project, easy A.

Li Lian Gaoza wowza!! What a nice Prof.! Lets us use a one sided cheat shiit for exams. wish there were more tests (only a midterm and a final), but hes funny how he asks us if we like a spicy food, like a chipotle?? mmmmmm eggcellent.

Not enough grades for me. There is a midterm and a final, with 3 homeworks. No extra credit. He lets you use a cheat sheet on tests, which can be helpful. Good professor, but class was kinda boring with a lot of lecturing.

Gao constantly smiles and loves to engage students in the class. He teaches directly from a powerpoint, which contains answers to questions on the midterm and final. He gives a review class right before each test, and allowed you to bring one cheat sheet to the tests.

Greatest mgt teacher alive. Nicest person you could ever have as a teacher. Two test and three homework's that he does for you in class so you get a 100. Cheat sheet on test. Gao is the Don.

Definitely need to go to class & take good notes. He lets you bring a one sided cheat sheet to the test (which he doesnt check) but you still need to study. The first two tests are fairly easy but the final is very hard. I got a 90 on the first two exams but got a B in the class because of the final

Professor Gao does his best to make the class engaging and welcomes participation. Some of the coursework can be challenging, but he allows all students to use a one-sided study guide during the exams. Material is presented clearly and grading policies are clear. I recommend taking him for any operations related course.

This guy is awesome, my favorite management professor, next to Lenaghan. Laptops in class are CLUTCH, he doesn't care. Your standard midterm, final, and group project class, with 1 or 2 little mini-assignments. Easy group project, decent midterm and easy final. Lets you bring a note sheet for the tests. Size 8 font comes through with the win.

he is a nice professor. a lot of comments mentioned he has thick accent. Well, it didn't bother me. You can still understand him. Very generous on grading. Most students get A-or A in his class if you do your work and participate. Not an difficult course. Highly Recommended.

This guy is as nice a professor as you will ever have. He makes life easier for his students, but still challenges them at the same time. He just doesn't create unnecessary roadblocks for his students like other professors do. Definitely take this guy
