Fall2014 Best theoretical physics professor, he explain everything simply, and make the class funny for who wants to learn. He is organized and understanding, if you focus in the class you do not need to study that much at home, just solve his homeworks he gave me all the reasons for A and I got it he is creative in teaching and responsive

Dr. Hocine is a very intelligent man, if you follow him correctly and listen to his advise you will definitely get an A. May not have the best ndersndabe, only loses patience towards disrespectable students. He is one of the best teachers I've ever had in my life. I want to thankhim. PS He's Algerian not FRENCH.

Physics according to Hocine is the anti-learning of this university. He had incorrect exam questions, but I didn't notice until the end...I wonder if I would have gotten a better grade if I actually checked the key for mistakes he made.

Actually a 6 on the easiness scale. If you will EVER get an A in Physics, you will do so with Hocine. You basically teach yourself in this class, but the tests are RIGHT OFF THE HOMEWORK and example exams. They are also mostly MC, which makes them quite easy. Tests also have Curves and ExCrdit.

WOAH! Very hard. He has a thick french accents and goes very fast in class. He jumps all over you if you question what he is saying. His tests were all multiple choice this semester, but he grades very harshly. Most people didn't pass his class.

Take a different 151 class if you can, and if you can't do that, just take PHYS 180 instead. This guy continually makes mistakes, is fickle about everything, refuses to offer even basic assistance, and unengaging. Stay away from his classes!!

He's rude, talks very quickly, and doesn't have much patience for people that don't understand his accent.He screamed at us for an entire period last fall after the 1st test because most of us failed.Entire h/w assignments were not counted because of crappy instructions he left with the secretary.

if you can avoid him. he has a thick french accent and doesnt like to be told he is wrong. you have to print out his notes. its too fast if you want to write it down...but its easy if you understand it. tests straight off the homework.

Wow!!! Do not take any class from this professor...Horrible. Thinks his tests are fair when 6 students out of 70+ get an A. More than half failed. Tests are 5-7 questions and all are multistep answers. Very hard!!!!
