Good professor, knows his stuff. Anyone accusing him of being unfair probably cheated (the department complains about cheating all the time) or didn't do their work. If you listen in class, do the labs, and study the textbook, you should be fine. Whatever you do, don't share work or collaborate unless he says it's ok.

Dr. McGrew may be one of the worse professors I have ever had. He fails to use examples that have anything to do with the projects he assigns, which makes the class extremely hard to preform well in. On a positive note he does know what he is talking about when it comes to programming but he just doesn't know how to teach it.

I enjoyed my classes with Dr.McGrew. His classes are demanding, but you learn something from them. My advice to would-be students is to value the rigor professors like Dr.McGrew put you through. Looking back on my education, McGrew was one of the shining stars. Just keep in mind that "easy" does not mean "good."

dr mcrgew is a great guy. but i would not take his classes if i didnt have to. hes not really a good professor. i have failed every test he has given, but he curves them lke no tommorow. dont get me wrong, if u want to get an easy b or a take him, but you wont learn anything. he is a good person though
