Horrible professor with no regard for the well being of students. Does not answer emails and has by far the worst grading scheme I have seen in my four years. Truly shocking do not take any courses with this clown if possible.

This professor clearly does not care about his students success. His qualities are not for teaching, and he shouldn't be an instructor for any course at this university. Professors like Talim who aren't qualified to teach in a way for his students to learn and understand the material, should not have a teaching job. Avoid his classes at all cost!

Decent guy, not the hardest class in the world. Not always clear, but if you ask questions you can succeed. The labs were very helpful. Large exam weight was annoying.

Worst prof I've taken in my first year career. Made me rethink engineering! He doesn't think about the fact that some of us don't have prior coding experience. Best advice: if you have him, drop the course and retake it in the summer!

SWEETEST SOUL EVER! Very thorough with his explanations in class, repeats concepts so they can solidify, but you gotta be patient with him cause he goes slooow, SHOW UP TO CLASS - gives solutions, tips and tricks, questions on midterms and exams and ASK Qs, dont be fooled by his cold exterior, very kind and relaxed during office hours

He doesn't post his notes online because he wants people to attend class, but even if you attend class it is impossible to copy down all the notes correctly because he goes through it so fast. The labs are extremely difficult. He is the hardest/worst prof for 1606. The exam is 70% too. My advice would be to learn course material on youtube

Doesn't care. Doesn't post help or slides or mocks. Doesn't help with labs. Rude to students. Clearly doesn't want you to pass. Unpleasant when you speak to him in and out of the lecture hall. IF YOU HAVE HIM THEN YOU BETTER MAKE SURE YOU KNOW YOUR STUFF OR THAT HE DOESNT STAY AS YOUR PROF FOR LONG. 70% MAY THE ODDS BE EVER IN YOUR FAVOUR.

This prof, makes the course harder for those who are trying to PASS (just pass) this freaking course. His notes are not helpful, he stopped posting things online (CuLearn) and his labs are definitely not that easy. His lectures are not useful and he is never making sense, scrolls through the things so fast i cant eeven take notes. My condolences!

He's OK, especially if you have previous programming experience. He's not friendly at all. If you want to do well in the course, make sure you understand all the labs (make sure to complete the labs that aren't for marks.. they help a lot), and make sure you know how to solve the examples he presents in class.

Probably the worst professor ive ever had. He makes a simple coding class ten times harder than it should be. His labs are exteremly difficult no matter how much you prepare . He is also very rude and does not like to help. Lectures are nothing close to the examinations.
