Worst professor I've ever had. Never explained things well. Was always giving an opinion about everything, and it was useless to try to debate said opinion. He would call people out in class on personal matters that should have been private. Had to write papers with no clear instructions. I literally learned nothing from his class. Easy A, though.

Dr. Lewis was an ass. He tried to make the students feel stupid if they failed to agree with his point of view, claiming that there were no opinions, just right and wrong. And, of course, he was always right. The work was easy, but if you missed one day he would flip! Don't take his class. He's just a self-righteous smartass.

I didn't learn anything at all from this class! We didn't take our midterm until 3-4 weeks after grades were due. In the end, he just gave everyone an A. I would say if you were willing to sit through a boring class and listen to him ramble on about stuff, to take his class...but...he isn't teaching it anymore. Quit/got fired after that class.

Excellent teacher, has very interesting perspectives on issues that I think anybody can learn from. The class is done the way a philosophy class ought to be, all you need to do is read and participate and you're doing good. Despite these other commenters, I highly recommend him.

This class was horrible. He was definately a very smart man but did not know how to teach. It was boring and he was a smart ass all of the time. Professors should act like they care since they're getting paid. Overall it was an easy pie class.If your looking for free electives this is one to take
