I think tidwell is retiring. So this may be his last review. Although tidwell was nice &funny his class is extremely borning. Every class was a struggle for me not to fall asleep. He is ALL lecture. 2 Test and a book review is what consists of your grade. Gives you study guide for exams and goes over it with you, study the guide and you'll be ok

He's a super chill professor! He basically just lectures the whole class period & writes his notes down on the whiteboard. The class only consisted of 2 exams, the midterm & the final, & one book report.

Professor Jeff is the most interesting history professor Ive ever taken. His class consist of listening to his lectures, because it will be on test and tells you what to write about the event. Theres only two test and one book report!!

Tidwell is honestly an amazing history professor. He makes this class really fun and clear. His tests are exactly like his study guides,and there is only two of them. Also, you have to write a book review but it's honestly a piece of cake. One of few professor that cares about the students. Definitely take him for fast track!

His lectures are heavy, yes, but this is college. Get used to it. Also, he DOES interact with class from time to time, but not really hes trying to teach the class history which covers a lot in one semester. he does answer questions and talk about them if you just ask. just 2 exams (he basically tells u wats in it), 2 essays (so easy). hes not bad

lectures very very much and gets off topic quite often. If you're a visual learner I wouldn't take him. Doesn't interact with class. Grades on very few things, so if you do bad on one thing you might struggle a bit .

By far the best teacher I have ever taken while being enrolled at Chaffey. Only 2 exams and 2 essays the entire semester. He keeps you engaged in his lecture. He also is funny every now and again! TAKE HIM!

One of the best techers I took Talked bout Trump & future of our country a lot when I took him, but it was at least entertaining. Besides that, he's a lenient grader, 95% of the lecture is on the test so be sure to show up to class, u dont have to get the textbook, 2 essays, one midterm and final. he tries cracking jokes and tells interesting facts

He will lecture for like 30 minutes then he gets off topic constantly sometimes difficult to learn anything in his class. if i had not taken an AP history class in high school i would not understand anything he talks about.

I absolutely loved taking this class. Mr. Tidwell makes you feel like your living in the past with his lectures. Make sure you take good notes during lecture and you will be fine. His test reviews are very helpful. I would take any of his classes again!

Great professor! Opens your eyes to History in a more truthful light! He won't sugar coat anything about what happened in history! He has 2 exams: midterm and final! You can pass them, just read the textbook and take well dictation notes! 1 reaction paper that is fairly easy. Must attend class!

Tidwell is an outstanding professor. You will see American History in a different light compared to what we're told in elem - he's a No-BS kinda guy during his history lectures, tells it how it is (like it or not). Attend. is mandatory. The textbook is very helpful. 1 midterm, 1 bk review, 1 reflect. paper and a final. Would def. take him again.

Tidwell is a very knowledgeable professor, he knows what he is teaching but if you're not a good listener you will struggle in his class. His lectures are challenging if history is not your thing, notes on the board are hard to understand. You have to attend every class meeting. Only two tests and two essays. He provides a study guide!

Professor Tidwell is a great history professor. I would recommend him to everybody. I had his class early at 8am, but wow he makes his lectures very interesting and explains things with great detail. We had 2 exams and 1 reaction paper, but don't worry he prepares you with a study guid.

Comment:

Where to start? Tidwell is by far the best history prof. I've ever had. Blows all my k-12 teachers out of the water. I happily commuted from Rancho to the Chino campus early morning for his lectures. Teaches history like it was! He likes to go off on tangents but always make you feel comfortable if you have an opinion. Only two exams, so study!
