Comment:

Although she can be fun in class she isn't clear about the assignments at all. Plus what was most disappointing was that it seemed that she had no interest in the work that was handed in. Everything was due on time but was checked after the finals. No feedback on assignments. No feedback at all.

Very fast pace and syllibus wasn't clear to the amount of work that would be given. Also, doesn't proof read any essay like other professors have done for ENG 101. Allows other "learning" students made the edits and recommendations. Nice, but not a style of teaching that personally will help me succeed.

Jennifer is the best teacher Ive had by far. She keeps the class engaged and makes it so fun..I dont even know how any one could give her a bad rating. She never makes you feel that you have a "stupid" answer. The assignments seem overwhelming but her goal is for her student to become better writers. I would take her class again. She is the best!

She is a challenging professor but extremely fair. She has a way of being able to convey concepts in such a way that is entertaining and educational. Her workload is intimidating at first but once you get a system down its very attainable as long as you put in the time. 5 stars in my book.

This teacher was unorganized, lost my assignments so I received no credit. Discussed inappropriate personal things, like drinking BEFORE class. Hands down one of the worst teachers I've had. I highly recommend you do NOT take a class by this lady.

It was a complete enlightening experience. Professor Lavoie does assign a lot of work, but that is to be expected in college. She is very fair and is helpful. I have to admit I was intimidated by the work load, but in the end it made me a better writer. Something I never thought I'd be capable of and that's thanks to Professor Lavoie.

She has a great personality and will keep you in stitches. However, plan to work because you will type your fingers to the bone. You're never short of writing and reading assignments. She's a great teacher though. Every class is interesting and she's always available to answer questions.

Lots of assignments in reading and writing.. class discussion went off topic a bit but that kept us interested.. we always got work done and were not bored. Was easy to get a good grade if you made an effort and did work on time. Nice person and understanding as an instructor. I would take her class again.

Jenny is a good teacher. Maybe brings her personal life and views to class a little too much. Lots of writing. She is very knowledgeable and helpful. Class discussions were great, thought-provoking. She resides on the left side of the left half of the left wing, but very smart nonetheless. Knowledgeable, helpful teacher.

she is very interesting and young so she knows when you're getting bored. i had an excellent class so our discussions were intense and fun to listen to. she makes you want to learn and your brain will spit out thoughts b/ she thinks everything you say is important. there are no dumb thoughts, esp in interpreting poetry which i hated but its FUN now

One of the best teachers I've ever had. If you listen to what she has to say, you will learn so much, not just about english, but about life! A wonderful person, and great teacher. If you don't get something, she'll help you out "until you get an A."
