There's only two tests. Takes attendance but if you don't show up, make sure to get the notes from someone. Lectures are a bit boring, but only because of some of the material. Likes to joke around. Make sure to finish all your lab hours. Easy A. Good for a GPA boost.

Just get your hours in and work at least 1 show (you get double hours if you work the shows). He's an awesome guy, likes to joke around, will re-explain if you don't understand something, and he's willing to help you build something if you need it. Basically, if you show up and look like you're willing to work: you'll do real well in this course.

Just come to class and take notes on what he says and the tests will be easy. Don't use the textbook. Lectures are boring, but the labs are pretty fun (using saws, lighting, painting, etc)

Stagecraft: easy class, but requires some participation ? some painting, hammering, etc.. Two exams ? 1st) knowing the name of the tools, 2nd) type of lighting, etc .. Jim Mobley is a really great and cool guy and informal laid back style of teacher. His lectures are practical and simple. He's easy to approach. Highly recommend ..

Stagecrafting was a ridiculously easy class as far as written grades go, only two tests the entire time. Mobley is a really cool guy, and has a very laid back style to teaching. His lectures never failed to put me to sleep, but the practical lessons were fun and simple. He's easy to approach, but watch out for attendence.

Easy class. Rather boring lectures. Labs are awesome. Laid back guy. Usually late for class though which can get annoying. Other than that it's an awesome class and Mobley is a great teacher.
