Do not take this class. Teach yourself, and still fail. Lab is just as bad. Show up to lab get an 8/10. Do everything perfect 9/10, he literally does not give 10/10 on lab grades. Don't waste you time with lecture. Lab is passable.

I respect Professor Williams and he obviously loves what he does, but my oh my is this class difficult. If you miss a day you'll have to retrieve notes from somebody or you will fail the upcoming test. All of the tests have 5 multiple choice questions worth 20 points total and 9 written problems. God speed to whomever is brave enough to take this.

The worst professor I have ever taken. He stands in front of the board as he is solving equations then stands aside when complete and you do not know where he received any of his answers. He also would teach us an entire chapter on a Monday and we would be tested on it on Wednesday. DOES NOT TAKE THE TIME TO EXPLAIN PROBLEMS. DO NOT TAKE!!!!!!!!!!!

If you need Physics as a prerequisite for a degree that DOES NOT INVOLVE PHYSICS; then take him. Tests are EXACTLY the HW done online which every problem is worked out in class (so don't skip) write exactly what he writes on the board for the HW problem on the test and you'll get an A. If you need to understand Physics take someone else.

These homework questions people are talking about are not easy either. They are extremely complicated and frustrating. So much wasted time trying to memorize them without knowing anything. Dont do it if you need to take a standardized test later on. You do not understand what you are getting yourself into. SPC PLEASE READ THESE REVIEWS

Please do yourself a favor and do not take. You will not learn anything. YOU HAVE TO MEMORIZE 30 QUESTIONS PER TEST FOR 5 TESTS PLUS CUMULATIVE FINAL IS ALSO ANOTHER 3O QUESTIONS. THAT IS 180 QUESTIONS TOTAL WITHOUT LEARNING ANYTHING. Just dont take physics at SPC. Take it somewhere else. You regret it if you are going into a professional program.

Possibly one of the worst professors I have ever taken at SPC. His class is an easy A if you just want to memorize homework problems and not understand a thing because they're identical to the test. 30 homework problems/ 13 questions on the test. Don't expect to learn anything. He likes to skip steps on the board which is annoying and confusing.

His class is boring. He makes it easy to pass with 5 tests and each test questions are exactly from the hw. you will not understand physics from him but he makes it possible to get an A without learning anything as long as you memorize the HW problems.

Awesome Professor! He makes Physics II easy. Even if you don't understand the meaning behind a problem, you can still study the homework problems which are always on the test and get an A. It's nice to have a Professor who knows the material, too. Definitely take him if you have a choice.

Good physics professor. His lecture style is heavy on math, light on concept (and possibly a tad boring for this reason). However, with a good grasp of the math involved, a thorough understanding of the concepts will follow from reading the text. Tests are nearly identical to homework problems.

labs are easy, you will always get a 9/10. This is the only grade you will get until the final. He just recently started giving finals. Many of the students weren't prepared for how hard it was. Overall he is a very good teacher

tests and homework are the only grades. homework is done online and doesn't really need to be completed until the day of the test. he goes over all the homework in class. test comes directly from homework. make sure you show ALL of your work and write the name of the formula/law you use. good professor

Absolutely do not take this teacher for this class, if you want a teacher who will actually teach the math to you. Tells you after the refund date that he expects the students to teach themselves and to relay what they learned back to him. Very unhelpful. He wondered why the class average for the first couple tests were ~ 30. :(

I had liberal arts 2 during the summer with him and it was time consuming, some of the work was above my head, but he made effort to help me after class if i asked for it, he's an ok teacher, i did well in the class, but it was so much crammed in for one summer semester, 2 projects due each class and assigments take 7 hours each. a lot of work!!!!!

Comment:
Too much material for summer session; had last test 2 days before the final (comprehensive and 25% of grade) which ruined my "A." Expectations are high; doesn't give students time to finish tests, almost seems as if testing memorization. His voice sounds like Bill Clinton's but unfortunately doesn't think like him. Intelligent but not great prof
