Seems like a very nice guy at first and lenient with going over with (4)tests. But his ways of teaching are very confusing, when students ask questions he seems to push them to the side and continue with his lesson. He doesn't post grades so it's hard to determine. Overall it's a very confusing class. I personally wouldn't have taken it.

I do NOT suggest Professor Pimental. Class drags on forever and 90% of the time he doesn't even know what he's talking about. He could turn an elementary problem into something Einstein would have a hard time understanding. I do not suggest taking his class.

Monotone and very uninteresting! He goes too fast and makes material confusing the only topic I did well in was the different number systems such as the Mayan, Egyptian, Hindu, and Bianary. Made everything else more confusing than it needs to be. His style of teaching is old school and out of date.

Prof. Pimental is a really nice guy who is very enthusiastic about math and wants you to get it. He also cracks dry jokes which are actually pretty funny and is a very fair and understanding guy when it comes to grading. Overall, a little suspect of his dry old school teaching style though his heart is definitely in the right place.

He is very nice. he knows who tries and doesn't and as long as you try he will always help you, he tries to make the class easy and crack jokes. But the class is very slow and didn't know what he was doing he made alot of mistakes and realized I always corrected him. if you understand this math you will sit and doing nothing if not it will help

He is nice and does care but many students were rude to him in my class and did not care about their grades so he began to develop the same attitude. If they dont care he doesnt its their grade. He does try to crack jokes and gives an understandable amount of work. Always had grades when I asked him for them. Overall I think he is an okay teacher.

Boring class, can barely stay awake. Material isn't too difficult, but you have to be motivated to teach yourself outside of class because he isn't the best professor. Test every few weeks, checks notebooks on test days. Takes attendance daily, & homework is given every class. Lots of notes. I def wouldn't take him for harder classes like calculus

BRAINDEAD. class drags on 4ever. doesnt kno what hes doing, doesnt care about the students, worst of all doesnt show grade calculations at all (so he can pretty much screw you over with grades). if u ask him what your grade is so far he will tell u he doesnt know. i suggest keeping track of every single grade you get so he cant screw you in the end

DO NOT TAKE HIM. doesn't care if the class does bad. speeds thru material and doesn't explain anything. if you ask what you can do if your test grade is bad, he doesnt give xtra credit, he doesnt scale tests if the entire class does horrible. not willing to help, you can tell he doesnt wana be there, otherwise he'd be willing to help & teach better

Awful. Only take him if you can teach yourself math. When you ask a question he says go get help in the AAC. HW every night. No quizzes, just tests & he checks HW on test days. NEVER answers questions. Does problems on the board even if no one understands what's going on. When I asked him what the exam would cover, he says "anything is fair game.."

He is awful. when i asked him for help he told me to go to the ACC. he takes attendance every day and never cancles class. everyday he just does problems on the board and if you dont understand it he just does another problem he wont explain anything to you.

very nice teacher. homework isn't mandatory but if you pass it in on test days it could help you in the end. boring when sitting in class but the material is easy to understand.
