By far the best prof in the Public Comm grad program. Professor Ivancin is passionate about teaching and communication research and is dedicated to ensuring that her students know not just how to conduct research, but also how apply it in real world applications. Extremely knowledgeable, incredibly nice, highly recommended!

Despite what a lot of people say, she's a really great professor. I have not met anyone in the department that actually knows more about straight research than Professor I. She is so nice and really generous on grading. Not always that interesting, but you'll learn the stuff.

Professor Ivancin is very kind and truly cares about her students. If you didn't get atleast a B on the midterm or final, you're pretty dumb. The exams were pretty much a vocab test. Simple memorization would have easily earned you all A's.

The midterm and final were not hard! Most people read the day before the exam so of course it was harder. All the questions were at the end of each chapter. Also, she was very lenient. Anyone who got less than an 80 in that class did not study.

Easy class A's on both papers til the midterm and final where she pulls material from nowhere and the class average is like C. Her grading also leave soemthing to be desired you never know how she'll be. But she is a nice lady.

Understanding Mass Media is ridiculous. We discuss sex in the media (gee, there's sex in the media? that's something i didn't know before!) and the TA grades everything. i have an A! another one of those classes i'd skip if attendance wasn't taken.
