Outstanding teacher. He will help you whenever you need it. Goes over the material very thouroughly. If you get stuck don't hesitate to ask him, what's going on. Do your homework like he says and you'll have no problems. I got an A too.

one of the best math instructors i've had.very easy to understand and does not get frustrated if you ask questions.very smart instructor and helps out.book and attendance are a must.study tests are similar to the actual tests.I had 3 tests and a final.

One of the best teacher at SAC. Very easy to understsand and he makes the class fun. Easy test just make sure you do your homework cause some problems are exactly same from homework. gives out reviews for the tests which help alot. over all wonderful teacher. I wished he taught every math class at SAC

Oh the stories he can tell. They'll make you laugh, they'll make you cry, they'll make say "what?" Mr. Cantu knows his stuff, he's usually willing to help, and he never pulls any surprises on the tests (although he likes to joke around and act like he's going to). He is picky though. If you attend class and study enough, you should do well.

When you ask him a question he often answers in a way that makes you feel stupid. He said we could use either TI-83 or TI-84 calculator, and then in the middle of term it turned out that people with TI-83s didn't have some functions we needed. So we spent $100 but couldn't do problems

OMG!! not a good professor in my opinion. Constantlty uses the word What? almost after every sentence. If you ask for help he says to try harder. One time i asked if i could have one on one time and he just told me to come back next week! If it takes you longer to understand math i do NOT recommend him at ALL!!
