Comment:

Dr. Wong gives very intense lectures. You absolutely have to come to class if you wanna do well in 320! He seems to be a very tough grader. However, most of the homework and tests are not graded by him directly, but instead by a TA (the TA was a soft grader). He had us all write stuff on the whiteboard. Very sweet guy, seems very busy though.

Dr. Wong is such a funny little guy! He is so scatter brained, but I actually really enjoyed his class and all of the things I learned in it that will be applicable later in life! He does not grade hard at all, most of the time if you don't turn the work in on time its fine as long as you turn it in, period. Would definitely take again!

Comment:

The worst class in CS taught by the worst professor. Never gives feedback on homework and you won't get your exam grades back until looong after you have taken it. So it's impossiblr to know how you are doingimprove. I thought this was school, ya know, a place for that one thing called learning? It won't happen in this class. Say bye to ur soul.

Comment:

Dr. Wong loves the material and loves to teach. That does not mean he is a good teacher. He is a poor explainer, frequently tells you to just read the book, and is not clear about test expectations or contents. Expect to read the entire textbook to pass an exam. CHECK THE GRADING. He is inconsistent and occasionally incorrect. Would not take again.

A little hard to understand, but he tries very hard. His jokes made me chuckle quite a bit. He really wants students to learn, but when we got to matrix puzzles at the very end of the semester, most students in the class hit a brick wall with the material and never totally grasped the concept. He knows his stuff! It helps if you're math-minded.

Very nice guy. Is willing to go out of his way to help you. He believes that every student can succeed if they put the effort. Love his positive outlook. He is somewhat hard to understand.

Absolutely great teacher. Extremely nice and helpful. Class got hard towards the end but he made sure everyone understood before he went on. He makes class fun and I personally think he's pretty funny. I would take him for every CSC class if I could.

Loves teaching and the material. If you show interest in what he is talking about he will go to great lengths to help you out. Very fair on grading and willing to tell you what your grades are if you ask.

Great guy, I just had trouble getting over the accent. Enjoys his job and knows the material well. Class is so simple if you know what you're doing. You could a semester's worth of work in less than a week if you wanted.

Nice guy but his teaching skills are poor. Unorganized and always 12 minutes late to class. Test are hard and over subjects we really never went over or reviewd for the test. Never gives back homework and never shows you the grades. Do not take any class taught by this professor.

he's a lot of fun, although hard to understand his accent sometimes. Classes aren't terribly hard, but some of the material is. Generally lets you turn stuff in pretty late. Seems to enjoy teaching.
