Awesome class, great prof. The lectures were always relevant to the readings and exams. If you pay attention & keep up with readings, tests were easy. She's clearly passionate about the material. Always very approachable and eager to help during office hours.

It's too bad she ended up at ****inson - should be at a school where students appreciate her. She's a very good instructor who actually expects her students to be intelligent!

Awesome! She really enjoys class discussions. Very enthusiastic about topics she is interested in and sparks class interest as well. Picks very good readings. Very accessible. Exams and quizzes are not that hard if you have done the readings. Overall very fair. Like her alot!

Textbooks are completely unnecessary. The material is fairly easy; a great deal of review if you have taken bio/anatomy classes before. A bit information heavy towards the end, but nothing a little cramming can't fix.

I'm not sure the problem that people seem to have with this prof. It seems to me that people just don't know when to stop talking and that she is less tolerant of idiots. I thought it was pretty easy (with studying). Although lecture was repetative, it was usually pretty interesting.

if you want to be condescended to then take this class. she treats her students like criminals/5 year olds. this class is so basic, but you have to study your ass off for the final, bc she crammed like 3 months worth of ape/human names on it. not fun. and really boring

She always seems like she's right on the brink of snapping at the class and she repeats things over and over - good for exams, bad for holding my interest. I wouldn't put yourself through this class, in spite of its easiness, unless you are interested in Anthropology, Osteology (bones) or Monkeys.

yikes. don't argue you with her. definitely picks favorites. if you do the work and go to class and do okay on exams you'll be fine...kind of hard...reading is sometimes more interesting than the class.

Same comments as above, however I had her the first year she taught here. She has gotten better material, but still can't seem to grasp that she is teaching at a collegiate level. Hell, my high school science class was more beneficial

very anal (yelled at a girl in my class for calling her MRS. rather than DR. or professor), grades a little based on favortism. i'd say you're safer keeping your mouth shut, but she grades on discussion, so just try not to ruffle her feathers and DEFINITELY don't call her out.

interesting course (bio aspects female sexuality) sooo much reading! Really hard grader, anal grader. Starts you off with a C for attendance and its worth 10% of your grade.

She's a good prof as long as you completely agree with everything she thinks, says and does. Otherwise, keep your thoughts to yourself or she'll hate you and deduct points for arguing with her.

For Anthro101 she was really easy, although I've heard she's gotten harder since then. She was a bit harder for Osteology, but not insane. I liked her. She was very knowledgeable and helpful.
