prof weld was quite rude and really made you feel unsmart if you asked a question. this would have been a really easy class only she made it difficult because she just assumed we all understood what was going on. i felt uneasy even asking a question because of some of her responses

Comment:

She is a great professor, not necessarily an easy A, but she is great at explaining the concepts. Her arithmetic is not the best (i.e. sign errors and miscalculations), but it keeps you on your toes. The only thing to be aware of is that she may come off as offensive, but it is not meant in that way.

She was a good teacher if you pay attention. Do all the homework and study for her quizzes and you will do well! Some things are unclear so studying on your own is necessary but if you need help she is always willing to help you with anything

Dr. weld is such a nice lady. I have nothing bad to say about her. She's a good teacher, and if you do her homeworks and review sheets you'll be fine. The class is challenging if you're good at math, but if she sees you trying she will make a huge effort to pass you wi a decent grade. She's better than most math professors at Manhattan

Some students find calculus very challenging. I thought Dr.Weld was an excellent professor for calculus for the life sciences. Really tries to get you to pass the class. Very generous with grades as long as she sees you're trying.

she is a really nice women and tries her very best to help all her students, but sometimes she moves too fast and makes you feel uncomfortable if you dont understand a topic. The labs are annoying, and i dont know any other calc class that goes to a lab. great women but just an okay teacher. Tests are hard but managable if you do the review sheet.

She is an overall good teacher but the way she explains things gets confusing and expects that you already know the material she is teaching. For the tests if you go over the study sheet and have a good grasp of the work then you will do pretty well

Very difficult teacher. She puts very tough questions on tests and quizzes. She is a good teacher though. Reviews alot for tests and final and answers any question you may have from the previous nights homework in class.

Makes the class more difficult than it should be. People who received As in High school for AP Calc still get Cs because she can't teach. She never really answers your questions...she just makes it more confusing.
