She is so kind and considerate. Very flexible and always willing to have office hours to help with any labs or questions. VERY minimal homework, as long as you show up and listen, you are fine in this class. There are only 3 exams and the final, along with a final term paper.

Blanc blessed this class. Professor Blanc for chair although hes probably got better things to do. Hes an important man and heard that you should be blessed with Blanc instead of Gallagher. Hard class though.

She has students that she already knows and likes. If you're not one of them, don't bother. She wouldn't give 2 craps about you. And she couldn't care less about the legitimate grievances against her (not being in her office during scheduled office hours, teaching brand new material on a Friday and testing on it on Monday) because she has tenure.

She is a very nice lady, however, her lectures and notes are unorganized. She talks too fast and switches between slides too quickly and often talks about information not previously known. The labs are pretty easy. She is very kind, but her presentation of the material isn't very structured. Most of your studying will have to be done on your own.

Like others have said, Her presentation of material in Chem 111 is terrible, she makes constant errors that she has to correct, I learned more from my lab instructor. Our class average on out last exam was a 64% and she did not curve. On the Plus side, she is extraordinarily helpful when it comes to email responses, and she plans class tutoring.

She was scattered & disorganized. She taught several things wrong the first time around, then spent the last 10 minutes of class trying to teach it correctly after we already learned the wrong methods. She is very nice though, but can be hard to follow.

Do not take this professor. If you have the option take Dr. Vinning. She is unorganized and makes mistakes every class.She will explain a problem on the board and 5 minutes later realize that it is wrong and go back and correct it. She is all over the place in lecture.

She is extremely nice! Def. curves. If you get under a 70 she gives u extra hw questions so that you can get a 70. It's a lot of OWL hw. Shes always willing to help or curve though.

She is for sure always willing to help anyone that needs it, however, she tends to not be very clear in her explanations. Her lectures are good, but not great. Her teaching could improve. Not that much homework, only OWL questions and cheat sheets are allowed for tests. Pay attention and put some effort in and you'll be fine.

Very nice and always willing to help. Great professor for both class and lab.Quizzes are easy,your allowed to use your homework to tak them. Tests are somewhat difficult but as long as you study you'll do fine.

She is a really nice woman, but when it comes to lecturing she leaves a little to be desired. I feel like she is too intelligent to express to students what she is trying to teach. She also tries to fit half of the lesson in the last 10 minutes of class and talks a mile a minute. If you took Chem in HS your golden.

Awesome teacher!! Great lab teacher. Love her and she is just great. I highly recommened her and make sure you get her for lab too. She is rly caring and nice and takes time to help you no matter what. The lab write ups are cake and if you send them to her, she will tell you what to fix. EASY EASY! If you took regents chen in highscool its easier!

She is nice, but honestly she couldnt control the class dicipine and every pt she jz mentioned slightly, if you have the Chemistry basic, the test or exam can not be any problem for you, otherwise you better regularly send her e-mails (she would reply as clear and as much as she can)and join the intersive class created by her b4 the exam.

the class sucks in general but she is very nice and is willing to help with anything. i have her lab and class and she curves awesome. i def recommend her for chem, even if you dont know anything!!! although she is a little batty and does some weird things, take this class!

I have Dr. Gallagher for lecture and lab this semester. She is probably one of the most kind and caring professors I have had so far. She speaks kind of fast in lecture, but all the notes are online so it doesnt even matter. She gives you review sheets before every test, use those to study.. everything is on there. And she curves. Shes awesome!
