Awestruck by this class. Had to interview with her for this class but got to create an actual real project of my choice. Labs include meeting real professionals who work in the industry and who hire graduates. Research with her will inspire you to be the best biologist you can be and make a difference in this world.

She made a difficult and complex subject easier for me to understand. The labs are great and outside every week! The lab assignments are difficult so go to her office to review assignments before you submit them. She has incredible passion for her work and will share all of her knowledge freely. Totally prepares students for employment.

She explains difficult concepts until you understand them completely. Assignments are designed to teach you to think about the entire process or concept that she is teaching. She inspires action concerning the health of the oceans. Study hard for the exams and you will pass. Take any opportunity to do research with her and you will learn a ton.

Excellent professor. Go to her office for questions. Answer questions in class even if you are wrong she makes a fish joke and really makes sure everyone in class understands the correct answer. She will set you up for success with her teaching style. Exams are based on homework and lecture power points. No surprises on her exams.

Restoration ecology was by far the most fun I've had in a class at UNF so far. Be prepared to read the book, and read a bunch of peer reviewed literature. This class is demanding, but rewarding. There is a big project at the end and you should begin working on it as soon as possible. My final restoration plan was 30+ pages long.

Dr Smith loves her subject & is very enthusiastic. Learned a lot from her even though I didn't do as well as I'd hoped. She has 2 exams & a final, no multiple choice only short answer & definitions (she gives a word, you write the def.) tough grader so be very detailed!! Study hard, participate in classlab, start your papers early & you'll pass

Came into this Bio 2 class on the verge of switching majors. The lecture taught by Ms. Smith quickly became one of my favorite classes. Shes funny, awesome and knows her biology.My lab sucked (8am). Made a good grade, her homework is extremely easy and useful, no points off for incorrect answer attempts. I did switch majors ha but enjoyed her class

Dr. Smith is very knowledgeable in biology. You have to go to her office hours to get to know her. Just going to class may give off a bad impression. Study the online homework to prepare for the tests. Biology 2 Lab is HARD, so do your best in lecture to make up for a possible low grade in lab.

She's awesome! Even though it is a lecture class, show up, she explains everything to you and even hints things about what you will need to know on her tests. Very funny and she wants you to get an A in her class. Most definitely read the textbook before tests, everything is in there that you will need to know for her tests. Online hw/quizzes.

She is very enthusiastic about biological science. As a professor she has high expectations and that's demonstrated through the design of her exams. You have to know the material very well. It's easy to underestimate this as just another biology class in the beginning. For quality and a challenge, I recommend her. She is fair.

Not the easiest class in the world... but shes a pretty decent professor. show up for class so that you can get extra credit at the end of the semester. study for tests, and take the online quizzes and do well in lab because they really help pull up your grade!

Nice professor, you do need to come to class she does give extra credit for attendence. Need to study to pass the tests. Lots of online quizzes (about 8). Everything is power point and boring! Lab really helped my grade. I got a C.

Love her. Tests are on power points that are posted online. You can take the online quizzes as many times as you wish. She is funny at times in a sweet little way. Sometimes you get EC for showing up to lecture. My grades get better and better each exam I take. Take her!!

she doesnt do online quizes. They are either paper or the CPS device. Her quizes were fairly easy and she has them often. Attendance is mandatory because you have to copy notes. She excpects you to read the book. Her tests are extremely hard. She does not curve, and a lot of people struggled in the class. I would not reccomend taking her.(BioII)

Very Nice Very Helpful Study her Lectures and you will do Fine. All Quizes are online So they are almost all guaranted 100%.
