I actually enjoyed his class, however I would suggest taking it in the fall or spring as a full semester course versus the 7 week courses. the course just has alot of material and lectures and I struggled trying to understand it and remember it so fast which made the quizzes and test a struggle. writing assignments are easy though.

Prof Harris is AMAZING. the quizzes are very clear, the papers are weird in the sense that they don't really relate to the class but they are easy. Would def take his class again. He is a very understanding professor and is def available if you have any questions for him

The course was easy and almost entirely focused on his lectures which are well done and informative, although most go up to an hour or more. Quizzes and exams were not too difficult. The papers were not overwhelmingly challenging and he was available to help out with it. The class had many schedule changes but these were not detrimental.

Dont take this Professor in terms for an online course. He assigns many video lectures which are an hour long each and he assigns multiple quizzes a week which are very difficult.

i learned a lot from Kenton, i wish more ppl would take his class on Dancing Mind Thinking Body. The class touches on the topic of the bias for the verbal and against the physical aspects of thought, Kenton was very gracious and He was open to let us do our term paper on anything as long as it relates to essence of what he teaches. take this class.

Super easy. In my opinion the class is barely philosophical. The quizzes are online and creating a google doc will help Studyyyyyy. Super easy class to pass.

I Took this class online as a fall mini course, which is only 3 weeks. All the work for a full semester was crambed together in these three weeks. Entirely to much material to read and long lectures. Although, the class is difficult, Professor Kenton is good with grading. He drops the lowest grade on quizzes which helped me a lot. Good Luck!

Took the course online. I enjoyed how he had video lectures theyre about an hour and the readings are long but thats to be expected. Read and take good notes the only thing that got to me were the quizzes. I read and took notes and struggled. They quizzes require you to think and understand the concepts. He drops the 2 lowest. Easy grader.

For the level of difficulty of the class with the amount of material does not give time to rationalize oh well understand the class. TIME CONSUMER could no concentrated in other classes for the amount of readings. Theres is not consideration, for the amount of reading and Short time to take Quizzes. NOT RECOMMENDED IT.

He is a really nice professor, but if you're not interested in the topic then the lectures are going to feel like they drag on for hours. The quizzes and two of the exams are online but they require a bit of effort into them. It isnt an easy A but it isn't the hardest class in the world either.

I took intro to philosophy. It is definitely challenging if you are not a philosophy fan. Lots of studying is mandatory, office hours and tutors are recommended and pay attention. He is clear on what he wants, and all lectures for posted on blackboard with narrative plus lecture notes. He does not use a textbook and does have difficult exams.

Harris is clear and precise. Those who arent willing to put in the work shouldn't take philosophy. You can pass exams with the textbook and lecture notes. Most the time is available after class, or soon after. He does not mind answering questions during lectures or at his office. Those who gave a bad review appear to not have put in the work.

I really don't want to write this because he is a really nice person. But if you are not interested in philosophy I would take this class with another professor. I have almost straight A's but I might fail this class. Even though his quizes are online and so are the exams they are really difficult and superwierd. He reads straight from his PP's.

If you fail any of Kenton's courses you probably are dumb or preoccupied with your personal life. attend class, be interested and literally just listen to kenton speak. Keep in mind Philosophy is all concepts, if you want an easy A don't take philosophy. If I did it u can too. Just be genuinely interested. Philosophy is about human nature, learn it

I took his Intro class last semester and while I must admit that there is a lot of things to read and his class in lecture heavy I did not consider it to be hard. There is a lot of info to learn but you'll have all his notes from the start. His class gave me a new insight on how to approach things in my life and it has made more self-aware too.

SAVE YOURSELF FROM THE STRESS!!!!! Every quiz and exam has trick questions and are extremely hard. I failed every single one and I have never failed anything in my life till now. Even if you study for them you wont feel prepared. He also is very hard to contact because he is the first to leave the class and takes a while to respond to emails.

I am taking a minor in philosophy and taking philosophy of science with Harris. No clear direction on how this class is ran except heavy lecture and 2 test. The hardest thing for me is that he reads word for word off of his slides. I'm still in his class, a little worried hope I pass with a B
