Overall, she was an alright professor. I took her online during the winter and all responses to blackboard questions had a character limit (which made it pretty difficult to answer all the questions she would ask!) and she graded a little tough. She was very easy to reach outside of class and extra credit was offered throughout the course.

Super chil, took online class and passed quizzes from quizlet! Chapter homework was pretty easy, less than 100 word free response to an open ended, option based question or something straight out of the textbook. Uploads lectures online as well as PowerPoints, gives extra credit for those who read emails and do homework Definitely recommend!

Answer questions directly, as given, and get failing grade. Absolutely inflexible with due dates. Should not be punished for a professors lack of clarity.

This was my first time taking an online class. Professor Bittner is a really nice professor; however, you must put effort into the class and read the material in order to do well. Give really clear specific answers for the chapter questions because they are graded tough. Professor Bittner always gives feedback on what is expected.

It wasn't bad at first, but then when I took my tests after each chapter i had 1 minute to answer each question. Which I don't think is fair. Even if you read and know a lot of the information if you second guess yourself and want to think about the question you can't. Her answer to my concern was " You should know it."

First impression is good, BB set up well, lots of information up. This is a Jan term, so quick and busy. The Revel assignments are pretty easy. Black Board tests give minute per question, open book. Make tabs for fast flipping. Essay questions are graded tough. Minimal extra credit in some emails. Would not take her in a normal lecture.

She got the dates wrong on the syllybus from what was on Revel. She Sends lots and lots of e-mails about whats expected , The first assignment she put everyones first and last name down who didn't turn it in , in the email. She gives 5 days between lessons, But all you need are definitions and a few names to pass the tests.

There are several assignments for the online class. The professor gave clear due dates, but her grading was difficult. She was not clear with what she was expecting as correct answers. Must read the textbook to pass the numerous quizzes and "chapter questions." The final was lazy on her part, and unfair to students.

This teacher sets clear expectations and holds you to them. If you apply yourself and follow instructions, you will get a good grade. She WILL NOT accept late assignments, so if that is a problem for you, look elsewhere. However, she is responsive and available. Best online experience to date.

Was extremely rude, had a death in the family and she told me to "not worry about missed work", well, she didn't explain it had to be done once i was back and i got 0s. I was not given the chance to turn in anything after it, and when i went to the board they took her side. expect hard readings and confusing emails.

Great, straightforward teacher. I like when professors are clear about what they expect out of assignments, tests, ect and she was. I personally found the coursework interesting and easy, but when I did need assistance she was quick to respond. Her tests can be a little difficult because they are timed, but if you study hard it should be okay.

I had her for a summer online class. I like the way she spaces assignments (1 chapter per 3 days) but she isn't helpful at all when you email her. A nose-in-the-air kind of professor. Wouldn't recommend. Definitely won't take again.

Very straight forward teacher. If you are late on an assignment she will not let you make it up, so make sure you turn everything in on time. She will give some extra credit but not much. Her tests are hard because they are timed and make you feel pressured.

Psychology is my passion so this course was easy for me. But if you're someone who doesn't have a knack for psych then you may find it tricky. I enjoyed reading the textbook but just so you know, it is vital you take copious notes bc she doesn't explain all of the info needed for tests... but the tests are online done online so USE YOUR NOTES! :)

This professor isnt very good at teaching online, Ive taken her twice with an online class, and each time Ive struggled with the tests. I don't like the very close time limit you have- you don't even have a chance to really read and understand the questions without feeling rushed.. Only good thing is she lets you work ahead.

Took her for an online class that met once a week. She was definitely entertaining inside the classroom. The online tests were super easy, but the in class final was the complete opposite.
