Comment:

Took her when COVID first hit. Super sweet & understanding of your situation. Likes class participation. 2 Quizzes, 2 Papers, 1 Midterm/Final. She repeats questions on quizzes/ exams and pulls questions from lecture and movie/shows you watch. Lots of notes but easy information and she lets you know what's going to be on the exam. Can repeat final!!

Comment:

Easy A as long as you show up to class and take notes. Has very high expectations. Tests were all multiple choice. Isnt very responsive when you e-mail her for help or clarification. Lectures are boring, but she simplifies everything. Show up to class, take notes, & watch movies. Simple as that.

Comment:

Ms. Martin is such an amazing professor, I love going to her class and learning about films. She is very passionate about what she teaches. Overall easy A curse 2 writing assignments and 2-3 tests easy though. Take her if you can!

She made us write two half pages each of the six homework six quizzes 20 questions each in class a midterm and a final 50 multiple choices each in class. Shows a lot of movies. The course had no knowledge it was useless. The lecture was sometimes boring, but if you can make some friends, you won't be that bored. give a study guide for test.

She is hilarious! She jokes a lot in her lectures and tells us personal stories to make it more entertaining. You can definitely pass as long as you come to class and pay attention. We watch movies in there, the papers are only one page long. Tests are multiple choice, and she gives you a study guide for the chapters. You'll love her.

Prof. Martin is a caring, funny, and reasonable professor. This class consists of 6 writing assignments, quizzes, a midterm, and final exam. All are easy if you refer back to lecture and notes. Pay attention to lectures, take good notes. She occasionally shows documentaries or movies in class so make sure you pay attention. Highly recommend!!!

Take this professor if it is for your GE. She was super nice, funny, and easy going. I loved her class and the work load was very light. Overall, cool and easy professor!

Overall, easy class. It was lecture heavy, but it got really boring at times, and you need to show up or it will affect your grade. She can sometimes be super emotional and dramatic for no reason at times, but overall, if you're just nice and smile, she will be chill.

AWESOME professor. One of the best ones I've had so far! she really knows a lot about drama and tries her best to make sure students understand the terminology well. She's very funny and shows many movies about different terms learned. Midterm, final and three plays, maybe a pop quiz or two. Super EASY A!! Highly recommended!

If you can take any drama teacher take Leslie. She is the funniest professor I have ever had and offers so much extra credit that at the end she'll take your extra extra credit and put those points towards your midterm and quizzes. But pay attention and take notes during lectures because it will help a lot!!!

The best professor you'll ever have! Respect her and she will respect you. There is no textbook, make sure to come to class since she counts participation and take notes. She always provides study guides for each quiz/exam. She is hilarious and a real gem. Appreciate getting into her class! Gives so much extra credit, had over 100%!

Easiest A you'll get. Participation contributes towards the easy A (just show up & pay attention). She makes lectures interesting. She's nice but DOES NOT tolerate talking while she's teaching. Interesting class. You watch several movies. Definitely recommend taking her !

Come to class with a laptop and take notes word for word since she doesnt post it on blackboard. Its an easy class to take because all you do is watch movies that can run up to 3 class periods. Shes hilarious but sometimes she gets a bit moody but that all depends on how your class behaves. Must watch 2 plays and submit essays for both.

Professor Martin is absolutely amazing. Everyone enjoys her lectures, because they are so theatrical and entertaining. If you regularly show up, attendance points will help your grade. At a certain point attendance will start becoming extra credit. Her tests are very easy and she offers study guides for each one and lets you use notes on the final.

She is funny, easy, and clear about she wants. We take notes, watch movies, and have minimal assignments. Required to go see two plays and write a 2 page critique and oral response. One midterm and final and two quizzes. Be careful about talking in class because she will snap at you.

The most easiest class I have ever taken! We watched a handful of movies and the only way she gives you credit is by a notecard you turn in with name and answers to exit questions. You gave to go to at least 2 plays but theyre fun to watch anyway. She is really funny and curses alot, which adds to her personality. You really just have to show up.

She's a really cool professor. Really chill and laid back. She provides study guides for each quiz, midterm and final, so as long as you know what's on the study guide your good to go. It's an easy A this class. Just go to lecture, take notes and answer the partipation questions at the end of class.

SHE IS THE BEST. Please take her if you can! She provides study guides for the tests and makes the class very interesting. It is important to pay attention to her lectures because she does not provide definitions on the powerpoint. You must attend 2 plays, write about them and provide an oral response (video) about it.
